Dr Rajesh is so caring and keen to provide all attention needed to folks staying there ! He is very supportive understanding and discipline with his morning walk with rain or shine ! So grateful to have facilitated 2 retreats at Nagath Ayurveda Hospital. This place is a sanctuary for body, mind and soul reset. The wonderful expertise of Dr Rajesh and Dr Anitha following the Ayurvefic principles, create a unique protocol for your body to heal. The space is restful, quiet, still, with some magic of life offered daily as you slow down, quite your mind and find presence with yourself Every treatment you receive from beautiful caring therapists is designed to support purifying and cleaning the body. Each one is amazing The moment your feet touch the ground at Nagath, you feel safe, wrapped in a cocoon of deep care, and spaciousness The rooms are extremely roomy, with ensuites, air conditioning, overhead fans , all that you need for deep comfort Sip tea on the shady verandah as you watch birds and chipmunks in the lush garden Wake up early to enjoy the village surrounding walks through rice paddies, laneways, sering life wake up to the new days There is so much to say, just book in to experience it. My 10 day visit to Nagath Ayurveda was my first. What I experienced during my stay, truly exceeded my expectations beyond what I could have ever imagined! The deliciously prepared food served 3 times per day was like a 5 star restaurant of soups, salads, curries, vegetables, Indian bread + many varied dishes I’ve never tasted before. Fresh juices, cups of tea, individualised medicines delivered to our room several times daily. The deeply caring staff attending to our every need on a daily basis, is beyond anything most of us have experienced in life. You truly do not have to think, as they take care of EVERYTHING! Nothing is too much trouble, everything is organised promptly with a smile + the hospital runs like clockwork, yet in a very calming, tranquil manner. The treatments are extraordinary + so very relaxing. Daily housekeeping, a beautifully maintained garden with hammocks + your own porch to enjoy quiet time with a book just adds to the experience. Yoga each afternoon on the rooftop pavilion with Mr Gelse is wonderful. Outings are available to the Ayurveda Museum, local temples, shopping excursions + so much more. All seamlessly taken care of by Dr Rajesh, from the tuk tuks to the taxis to the timing. With only 6 rooms, it ensures you get personalised treatment, care + attention from all the staff as well as Dr Rajesh + Dr Anitha who are amazing at what they do. These two are incredible professionals who infuse everything with their special essence. From my daily consultation with Dr Anitha to my 6am morning walk with Dr Rajesh (which is a highlight of all the guests) to the evening sunsets + purple skies from the gardens, this place is pure magic. What you receive at Nagath Ayurveda is not possible at larger facilities, due to their size + the number of guests. Here, you feel like you’re in their family home + a part of their family. Their generous heart + spirit, along with their deeply beneficial knowledge of Ayurveda makes Nagath a must visit, for anyone wishing to improve their lifestyle, diet, health or overall wellness + way of living. I’m immensely grateful + can’t wait to implement my newfound knowledge into my daily life back home in Australia. Already looking forward to my next visit to Nagath + planning accordingly. Where to begin! The beautiful garden; amazing, caring staff; exquisite food and service; the exceptional care and generosity of Drs. Rajesh and Anita! A truly restorative sanctuary! Very sad to say goodbye.... I feel like we were embraced by the wonderful staff and the beautiful community in the village! We have already booked for our return. Athirapilly Falls is situated in Athirapilly Panchayat in Chalakudy Taluk of Thrissur District in Kerala, India on the Chalakudy River, which originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats at the entrance to the Sholayar ranges.
