In harmony with the philosophy, Indimasi recognizes the profound healing potential of food, exemplified through its organic farming and dairy initiatives. The campus harvests organically grown fruits and vegetables, supplying the in-house yogic restaurant with wholesome goodness.

The Center underlines the intake of organic and creative Yogic food to promote healthy living. Emphasis on using seasonal, local, fair-trade, and organic produce aligns with Indimasi’s dedication to healthy living and sustainable development. The menu promotes grains like brown rice, wheat, maize, millet, tubers like sweet potato, white yam, elephant yam; and natural ingredients like turmeric, honey, and palm sugar. It combines a stimulating atmosphere with excellent food that will change the way one views vegetarian and raw food cuisine.

Nestled within its expanse are an organic vegetable farm, a dairy, a rejuvenating swimming pool, and a Kalari (school of Indian martial arts). This amalgamation of facilities creates a nurturing environment, allowing guests to engage in various farming methods, showcasing the commitment to both organic farming and a dairy farm.

Strategically positioned in the hillocks near the Ponmudi hills, away from the coastal allure, Indimasi is a deliberate choice for optimal healing. This calculated decision stems from the understanding that the salty air near the seaside may not be conducive to healing. By choosing a location away from the coast, Indimasi ensures an environment that enhances the well-being of individuals seeking treatment for serious ailments.

Indimasi Healing Village invites individuals to a haven where organic farming, dairy, and martial arts converge to create a holistic sanctuary for well-being.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The ancient Indian sages have declared the same many centuries ago. Ayurveda defines health as “Samadosha samaagnischa samadhatu mala kriyaah prasannaatme indriyamanah swastha ityabhidheeyate.” Health is a state of well-being when the three Doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) are in harmony along with a contented mind, senses and spirit. Indimasi is driven by the philosophy that the right application of food, exercise, medication and meditation leads a person to a state of total well-being and helps him explore the inner potential of the self.

The Centre for Yogic Living at Indimasi promotes the Indian traditional way of life centered on Śrī Vidyā Yoga. Situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, it emphasizes supreme contentment, conveying the astonishing possibilities of Śrī Vidyā Yoga.At the Yoga–center, the primary tool for healing is Śrī Vidyā Yoga (Yoga exercises and Pranayama), combined with the right diet, Ayurvedic and Siddha traditional massages, and procedures to combat lifestyle diseases like arthritis, obesity, blood pressure, diabetes, heart diseases, cancer, stroke, and depression. The Training Centre stresses that the mastery of Yoga transcends obstacles. This practice doesn't necessitate a remote retreat. Any individual, at any level, can easily learn the nuances of Śrī Vidyā Yoga and derive its benefits for leading a wholesome life. The center conducts seminars and workshops on wellness and the yogic way of living, also selling organic produce and food ingredients to interested customers.

Kalaripayattu or Kalari is the first and the mother of all martial art forms in the world. The Kalari originated in South India, with two styles in practice. The Guru of Thekkan (Southern) Kalari is sage Agastya Muni, and the guru of Vadakkan (Northern) Kalari is warrior sage Parasurama. Though the real accounts of ancient Indian history have faded away with time due to a series of invasions that India underwent, there was undoubtedly a rich Indian culture and tradition that created a healthy society. This glorified past of the land of Bharatam or Bharat, which later came to be called India, can be traced in various parts of the country, particularly in the Southern state of Kerala. Several South Asian martial arts are believed to have originated from Kalari and still share many similar fighting techniques. Besides being a martial art form, Kalari has various dimensions and was developed by Indian seers for a greater cause. It was practiced by men and women of all ages, thereby building a healthy society. They specialized in one or more important weapons of that period, including the spear, sword, and shield. Kalari also teaches various techniques of fighting with bare hands that include steps (Chuvadu) and postures (Vadivu). Kalari tournaments were often held with much pomp and splendor. These fighting arenas were also the recruiting ground for the warriors of the erstwhile king’s army. Thus, a society thrived that was healthy and committed to helping others lead a good life.

The Siddha System of Medicine is the foremost of all other medical systems globally and originated in South India. In Siddha tradition, there are 18 renowned Siddhars, with Sage Agastya Muni considered the first Siddha and the first guru of the tradition. The word Agastya can be translated as someone who is sitting inside, implying that there is a sage within everybody whose amazing potential can be unleashed by practicing Siddha Yoga. The uniqueness of the Siddha System is evident by its continuous service to humanity, combating diseases while many of its contemporaries became extinct long ago. Siddhars, through their yogic powers, explored the world and within. They understood the powers within an individual that usually lay dormant and developed techniques to activate them. Also, using yogic powers, they unraveled the healing potential of plants, metals, minerals, and animal products. Their knowledge of drug properties and their clinical application was preserved in the form of verses and passed on to disciples. The deep understanding of various processes taking place in the human body made the Yogis natural healers, always helping society combat diseases. Indimasi reintroduces the modern world to the Siddha system of medicine. Under the guidance of Yogi Shivan, Indimasi Ayurveda and Yoga complement Siddha medicine, creating an integrated system of medicine. This is why, at Indimasi, no disease is beyond control.

Naturopathy is a science of healthy living with a drugless system of healing based on a well-founded philosophy. It recognizes the existence of the vital curative force within the body, aiding the human system to remove the cause of disease, i.e., toxins, by expelling unwanted and unused matters from the human body for curing diseases. Several references in our Vedas and other ancient texts about Naturopathy attest to its presence in our cultural heritage.
