India / Kerala / Thrissur - Beach

Year of Establishment: 2009

Spread across 16 acres of coconut groves alongside India's Malabar Coast is The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort is a physician-led Ayurveda wellness retreat located on the tranquil shores of Nattika Beach in Thrissur, Kerala. The retreat combines authentic Kerala Ayurveda, Yoga, therapeutic nutrition, and personalised wellness programmes with nature setting designed for healing.

This property features 52 traditional Kerala-style villas, a dedicated Ayurveda Centre, daily Yoga, and personalised care that focuses on restoring the body, mind, and spirit. Every guest receives a customised programme based on their health condition and wellness goals, with treatments, Yoga practices, dietary plans, and daily routines continuously monitored and adjusted by experienced Ayurveda physicians. This philosophy extends throughout the guest journey, creating a personalised healing experience supported by attentive hospitality, therapeutic cuisine, and a carefully curated programme of wellness and cultural activities.

Nattika has earned it's recognition for maintaining authentic Ayurveda alongside international standards of quality and safety. Its Ayurveda Centre is NABH Accredited, while the resort also operates Nattika Life,(an in-house herbal and medicated oil manufacturing unit established in 2017), to prepare traditional formulations used in therapies.

Property Design and Landscape

Nattika is intentionally build to support a low-density wellness retreat experience, where architecture blends naturally with its coastal surroundings. Carefully positioned Kerala-style villas maximise privacy while remaining closely connected to the gardens and beachfront. Landscaped pathways, flowering gardens, open lawns, lotus ponds, shaded seating areas, and uninterrupted access to the beach create a calm environment that encourages relaxation between treatments and Yoga sessions. The overall design reflects the Ayurvedic belief that healing is closely connected with nature.

Bordered by a long stretch of fine sandy beach, the retreat enjoys uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea beyond the accommodation areas. The resort includes landscaped recreational spaces, an outdoor swimming pool, a dedicated Yoga Hall, the Swastha Ayurveda Centre, restaurant, lounge, guest houses, souvenir shop, organic farm, medicinal gardens, tennis court, staff facilities, laundry, and sewage treatment plants, all integrated into the overall master plan that seamless blend into the natural landscape.

Located within Nattika Panchayat in Thrissur district, the resort is approximately 60 km from Cochin International Airport and enjoys Kerala's tropical maritime climate. Nearby destinations such as Triprayar offer opportunities for local shopping and cultural experiences, while the property's beachfront location provides guests with sunrise and sunset walks throughout the year.

Founders and Ayurvedic Heritage

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort was established with the vision of preserving and promoting the authenticity of classical Kerala Ayurveda through a retreat where traditional healing is supported by personalised hospitality and modern quality standards. Although the provided sources do not identify an individual founder, they clearly establish the organisation's long-term commitment to authentic Ayurveda, physician-led treatments, therapeutic nutrition, and holistic wellness, supported by continuous improvements based on guest feedback and evolving healthcare practices.

A significant milestone in the resort's development was the establishment of Nattika Life Herbal & Oil Company in 2017. This in-house manufacturing facility produces medicinal herbal and essential oils using traditional Ayurvedic preparation methods, ensuring the authenticity, consistency, and quality of the formulations used throughout the retreat's therapies. By maintaining direct control over its medicated oils and herbal preparations, the resort strengthens its commitment to genuine Ayurvedic practice and quality assurance.

The organisation also extends its philosophy beyond hospitality through the Kodath Foundation, which focuses on social responsibility by supporting children's education, empowering persons with disabilities, assisting vulnerable families, and promoting sustainable community initiatives. Alongside its NABH Accreditation, physician-led wellness programmes, and in-house herbal production, these initiatives reflect a broader commitment to healthcare excellence, environmental responsibility, and community wellbeing that forms an integral part of the Nattika identity.

Ayurveda forms the foundation of every aspect of wellness at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort. The retreat follows the principles of classical Kerala Ayurveda, viewing health as a balance between the body, mind, and spirit rather than merely the absence of disease. Every programme is designed to restore this balance through a personalised combination of Ayurvedic therapies, herbal medicines, therapeutic nutrition, Yoga, meditation, and healthy lifestyle practices. The objective is not only to treat existing conditions but also to prevent illness, improve vitality, and promote long-term wellbeing.

The retreat places strong emphasis on individualised healing. Recognising that every person has a unique constitution and wellness requirement, treatments are never standardised. Whether a guest seeks relaxation, preventive healthcare, rejuvenation, or an intensive Panchakarma programme, the medical team develops a treatment plan that is continuously reviewed and refined throughout the stay. Ayurveda and Yoga are practised as complementary sciences, with Yoga sessions carefully integrated into the prescribed treatment programme to maximise therapeutic benefits.

Authenticity is reinforced through the use of traditional Ayurvedic medicines and medicated oils prepared by Nattika Life, the resort's in-house herbal and oil manufacturing facility. Treatments are supported by physician-prescribed Ayurvedic diets, personalised lifestyle guidance, and a multidisciplinary team of doctors, therapists, Yoga instructors, and dieticians working together to deliver holistic care under recognised quality standards, including NABH Accreditation.

Personalised Treatment Planning

Every wellness journey begins with a detailed consultation at the Swastha Ayurveda Centre, where experienced Ayurveda physicians assess the guest's medical history, lifestyle, body constitution, present health condition, and wellness objectives. Based on this evaluation, a personalised programme is created that combines appropriate therapies, herbal medicines, dietary recommendations, Yoga practices, meditation, and daily routines. The treatment plan is designed to suit the individual's condition rather than following a fixed protocol.

Throughout the stay, doctors closely monitor each guest's progress and modify treatments whenever required. Close coordination between physicians, therapists, Yoga instructors, and dieticians ensures that every aspect of the programme remains aligned with the guest's therapeutic goals. Yoga is prescribed as part of the treatment itself, with guests advised to follow the guidance of both their Ayurveda doctor and Yoga teacher regarding session selection, intensity, and participation. Certain treatments, including Virechanam and Kashayavasti, require guests to avoid Yoga on the day of therapy, while strenuous exercises are generally discouraged during Ayurvedic treatment.

Guests are encouraged to attend only one primary Yoga session each day unless additional participation is specifically approved by both the physician and Yoga instructor. Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Meditation, Interactive Sessions, and Mantra Chanting may be attended as supplementary practices when appropriate, ensuring that every activity supports rather than interferes with the therapeutic process.

Post Treatment Care

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort views wellness as a long-term lifestyle rather than a treatment that ends with departure. At the conclusion of the programme, guests receive personalised recommendations from the medical team to help maintain the improvements achieved during their stay. These recommendations typically include dietary guidance, daily routines, Yoga practices, breathing techniques, and lifestyle modifications tailored to the individual's condition and treatment outcomes.

Guests may continue their wellness journey using physician-recommended herbal medicines and medicated oils produced by Nattika Life. The knowledge gained through therapeutic dining, Yoga, meditation, healthy cooking, and Ayurvedic lifestyle practices is intended to become part of everyday life, allowing guests to sustain the benefits of their treatment long after returning home. The retreat's philosophy encourages guests to regard Ayurveda as a continuous practice of balanced living rather than a temporary wellness programme.

Accommodation

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort offers 52 independent Kerala-style villas thoughtfully distributed across its 16-acre beachfront property to ensure privacy, tranquillity, and close connection with nature. Inspired by traditional Kerala architecture, the villas feature sloping tiled roofs, natural materials, spacious interiors, and private verandas that blend seamlessly with the surrounding coconut groves, landscaped gardens, and the Arabian Sea. Their low-rise design preserves the peaceful ambience of the retreat while allowing guests to experience abundant natural light, fresh sea breeze, and uninterrupted views of the lush surroundings.

Accommodation is offered in a selection of Twin Villas, Deluxe Twin Villas, Deluxe Villas, Superior Deluxe Villas, and the Presidential Villa, catering to solo travellers, couples, families, and guests undergoing extended wellness programmes. Each villa is designed to provide a calm and restorative environment that complements Ayurvedic healing, with comfortable living spaces, modern conveniences, and easy access to the Ayurveda Centre, Yoga Hall, restaurant, beach, and other facilities. The independent villa concept further enhances privacy, allowing guests to relax peacefully between treatments and wellness activities.

The overall accommodation experience reflects the resort's philosophy of holistic wellbeing, where architecture, comfort, nature, and therapeutic surroundings work together to support physical and mental rejuvenation. Rather than functioning simply as guestrooms, the villas form an integral part of the healing environment, encouraging rest, relaxation, and uninterrupted recovery throughout the stay.

Diet and Dining

Diet is regarded as an essential component of the healing process at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort. Every meal is prescribed according to the guest's individual treatment programme, body constitution, and health condition, with close coordination between the Ayurveda physicians, dieticians, chefs, and restaurant team. Rather than offering a conventional buffet experience, the culinary approach is designed to complement Ayurvedic therapies, ensuring that nutrition actively contributes to each guest's healing journey.

Dining takes place at Vapika, the resort's signature pure vegetarian buffet restaurant, whose name is derived from the initials of the three Ayurvedic doshas—Vatha (Vata), Pitha (Pitta), and Kappa (Kapha). Every vegetarian dish is categorised according to these doshas, allowing guests to choose meals prescribed by their Ayurveda physician based on their constitutional type. This dosha-based dining philosophy transforms every meal into an extension of the treatment programme, reinforcing Ayurveda's emphasis on personalised nutrition and digestive balance. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, lunch from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and dinner from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm. Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions are encouraged to consult the chef for suitable meal preparations.

The culinary programme is led by Executive Master Chef Joshy Sebastian, who has specialised in Ayurveda and local cuisine since 1990. Over the course of his career, he has introduced more than 1,080 Ayurvedic dishes, each created to balance different body constitutions while emphasising simplicity, nutritional value, and authentic flavours. Chef Joshy has also authored the books Healthy Way to Eat, Lovely Way to Eat, and Sattva, which present the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and mindful cooking. Supporting the dining experience is Restaurant Manager Mr. Kalairasan, who works closely with the medical team to ensure every guest receives the correct prescribed diet, remembers individual preferences, and provides personalised attention throughout the stay.

Wellness Activities

Wellness at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort extends far beyond Ayurvedic treatments through a carefully curated programme of Yoga, meditation, relaxation, education, cultural experiences, and nature-based activities. Every activity is designed to complement the guest's personalised treatment programme, promoting physical strength, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual wellbeing. Guests are encouraged to participate according to the recommendations of their Ayurveda physician and Yoga instructor, ensuring that each activity supports the healing process rather than functioning as a standalone recreational programme.

Daily Yoga sessions are conducted in the dedicated Moksha Yoga Hall and include Meditation, Progressive Yoga, and Yoga Lite sessions held at scheduled times throughout the day. Additional sessions include Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Mantra Chanting, and Interactive Yoga Sessions, each offered on specific days of the week. Progressive Yoga is conducted exclusively on Sunday evenings, while guests are advised to practise Yoga only under the guidance of the Ayurveda doctor and Yoga teacher, as Yoga forms an integral part of the prescribed treatment programme rather than a separate fitness activity.

The retreat provides comprehensive Yoga guidelines to ensure safe and effective practice during treatment. Guests are advised to avoid Yoga on the day of Virechanam and Kashayavasti, refrain from practice when experiencing illness or discomfort, and allow at least one hour after Ayurvedic treatments before attending a session. Strenuous exercises and advanced postures are discouraged, with only one primary Yoga session recommended each day unless otherwise approved by the doctor and Yoga instructor. Additional sessions such as Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Mantra Chanting, Yoga Lectures, and Interactive Sessions may be attended as supplementary practices. Electronic devices and audio or video recordings are prohibited inside the Yoga Hall to preserve its peaceful atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to practise on an empty stomach, wear comfortable clothing, carry a towel, breathe through the nose, perform Asanas before Pranayama, complete Shavasana before breathing practices, and stop immediately if they experience pain or discomfort.

Beyond Yoga, guests can participate in a variety of daily activities including social gatherings, culinary experiences, educational sessions, and discovery programmes organised within the resort. Leisure time can be spent enjoying the private beach, landscaped gardens, swimming pool, and peaceful outdoor spaces, creating opportunities for relaxation between treatments while encouraging a balanced and enriching wellness experience.

Facilities and Services

The Swastha Ayurveda Centre serves as the heart of the resort's wellness offerings, bringing together experienced Ayurveda physicians, qualified therapists, Yoga instructors, and dieticians to provide personalised treatments under one roof. Every service is delivered by trained professionals, with treatment plans continuously monitored and coordinated across departments to ensure an integrated healing experience. The medical team is led by Chief Physician Dr. Hema K. P., supported by senior consultant physicians, quality coordinators, dieticians, therapists, and Yoga instructors, reflecting the resort's commitment to authentic Ayurveda and clinical excellence.

The resort offers a comprehensive range of facilities including the Ayurveda Centre, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, Moksha Yoga Hall, Vapika Ayurvedic restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, beach lounge, landscaped gardens, organic farm, medicinal plant garden, Nattika Life herbal and oil manufacturing unit, souvenir shop, guest houses, tennis court, library and relaxation spaces, laundry facilities, and extensive walking areas throughout the beachfront property. The master layout has been carefully planned to ensure convenient access between wellness, accommodation, dining, and leisure facilities while maintaining privacy and harmony with the natural surroundings.

Guest services are managed by a dedicated hospitality team responsible for reservations, housekeeping, dining, wellness coordination, and overall guest care. The resort emphasises personalised service, with departments working closely together to accommodate individual treatment schedules, dietary requirements, and guest preferences. Operational excellence is further supported by NABH Accreditation, quality management systems, and an experienced team committed to maintaining high standards of healthcare, hospitality, safety, and guest satisfaction throughout every stage of the wellness journey.

Sustainability and Guest Guidelines

Sustainability is embedded into the philosophy and daily operations of The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort. The retreat strives to preserve the authenticity of Ayurveda while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, ethical healthcare, and community welfare. A significant part of this commitment is reflected in Nattika Life, the resort's in-house herbal and medicated oil manufacturing unit established in 2017, where traditional preparation methods are used to produce authentic Ayurvedic formulations for therapies. By manufacturing its own herbal and essential oils, the resort maintains quality control while supporting genuine Ayurvedic practice.

The property also demonstrates its social responsibility through the Kodath Foundation, which supports children's education, empowers persons with disabilities, assists vulnerable families, and promotes sustainable community initiatives. The landscaped gardens, coconut groves, medicinal plant gardens, and natural beachfront environment further reflect the resort's emphasis on living in harmony with nature while preserving the ecological character of the surrounding landscape.

Guests are encouraged to follow the retreat's wellness protocols to maximise the benefits of their treatment programmes. Yoga is regarded as an extension of Ayurvedic therapy rather than an independent fitness activity, and guests are expected to follow the guidance of both the Ayurveda physicians and Yoga instructors regarding participation, session selection, and physical intensity. Electronic devices and photography are prohibited inside the Yoga Hall to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, while appropriate clothing, hydration practices, fasting intervals before Yoga, and adequate rest after treatments are recommended to support safe practice. Guests are also advised to discontinue Yoga immediately if they experience discomfort and seek assistance from the instructor whenever necessary.

The resort also maintains detailed operational safety procedures covering hygiene, infection prevention, housekeeping, food safety, guest health, staff protection, emergency preparedness, sanitisation protocols, and public area management. These procedures reinforce the resort's commitment to providing a safe, hygienic, and clinically managed environment for both wellness and hospitality services.

Guest Experience and Stay Approach

The guest experience at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort is designed as a seamless wellness journey where every aspect of the stay contributes to healing and personal wellbeing. From arrival, guests are welcomed into a peaceful beachfront environment before undergoing a detailed consultation at the Swastha Ayurveda Centre, where experienced physicians assess their health condition and develop an individual treatment programme. Throughout the stay, doctors, therapists, Yoga instructors, dieticians, chefs, and hospitality staff work together to ensure that treatments, meals, activities, and daily routines remain closely aligned with the guest's therapeutic goals.

Each day follows a balanced rhythm centred around Ayurvedic treatments, physician-prescribed meals, Yoga, meditation, relaxation, and optional cultural or educational activities. Guests are encouraged to spend time walking along the beach, relaxing in the gardens, participating in wellness sessions, or simply enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings between treatments. The combination of personalised medical care, attentive hospitality, healthy dining, and nature-based experiences creates an environment where healing extends beyond the treatment room into every aspect of daily life.

One of the defining characteristics of the resort is its highly personalised approach. Guest feedback has played a significant role in shaping the retreat over the years, leading to continual improvements in both healthcare and hospitality. Many guests return regularly, describing the resort as a second home due to the warmth of the staff, the consistency of care, and the genuine relationships built throughout their wellness journey. Rather than delivering a standardised retreat programme, The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort seeks to create an individual healing experience that continues beyond departure through personalised lifestyle guidance, therapeutic nutrition, Yoga, and Ayurvedic practices that guests can integrate into their everyday lives.

More about Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort

Dining at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort is an integral part of the therapeutic process rather than a standalone hospitality service. Every meal is prescribed by the Ayurveda physicians according to the guest's Prakriti (body constitution), current health condition, digestive capacity, treatment programme, and therapeutic objectives. The medical team works closely with the restaurant, chefs, and dieticians to ensure that every dish supports the prescribed Ayurvedic therapies and contributes to the guest's healing journey. Unlike conventional buffet dining, the focus is on personalised nutrition, where food is regarded as medicine and forms an essential component of the overall treatment plan.

The resort's signature restaurant, VaPiKa, derives its name from the three Ayurvedic doshas—Vatha (Vata), Pitha (Pitta), and Kapha (Kapha). Every vegetarian dish is categorised according to these doshas, enabling guests to easily identify meals recommended by their physician. The cuisine follows the principles of classical Ayurveda, emphasising fresh, seasonal ingredients, balanced nutrition, digestibility, and mindful eating. The menu combines traditional Kerala recipes with healthy international preparations, allowing guests from different parts of the world to enjoy therapeutic meals without compromising Ayurvedic principles.

The culinary programme is led by Executive Master Chef Joshy Sebastian, who has specialised in Ayurveda and local cuisine since 1990. With experience gained across India and Europe, he has developed more than 1,080 Ayurvedic recipes, each carefully designed to balance different constitutions while maintaining simplicity, flavour, and nutritional value. Chef Joshy has also authored three books—Healthy Way to Eat, Lovely Way to Eat, and Sattva—which explain Ayurvedic food philosophy and mindful cooking. His expertise plays a significant role in ensuring that therapeutic diets remain both nutritionally balanced and enjoyable throughout the guest's stay.

Supporting the personalised dining experience is Restaurant Manager Mr. Kalairasan, who coordinates closely with the doctors, chef, and restaurant team to ensure that every guest receives the correct physician-prescribed meals. He carefully monitors individual dietary plans, remembers returning guests' preferences, and ensures that meals are served accurately and without delay. This close coordination between the medical and culinary teams reflects the resort's integrated approach, where dining becomes an extension of the treatment programme rather than a separate hospitality service.

Many ingredients used in the restaurant are sourced from the resort's organic farm and medicinal gardens whenever possible, supporting a fresh farm-to-table approach while reducing dependence on external suppliers. Guests are also introduced to Ayurvedic food philosophy through healthy cooking demonstrations, culinary sessions, and nutrition discussions, enabling them to understand the relationship between food, digestion, and holistic health. These educational experiences encourage guests to continue Ayurvedic dietary practices after returning home.

Meals are served in a relaxed setting overlooking the resort's lush tropical landscape. Breakfast is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, Lunch from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and Dinner from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm. Guests with food allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements are encouraged to inform the restaurant team, allowing the chef to prepare suitable alternatives without affecting the therapeutic objectives of the prescribed diet. The restaurant also promotes mindful dining practices, encouraging guests to eat slowly, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and appreciate food as an essential element of healing rather than simply nourishment.

Although The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort is primarily a physician-led Ayurveda retreat, it offers a thoughtfully curated selection of leisure experiences that complement the healing journey without disrupting therapeutic programmes. Leisure activities are designed to encourage relaxation, mindfulness, cultural immersion, and a deeper connection with nature, allowing guests to unwind between treatments while maintaining a balanced wellness routine.

The resort enjoys a tranquil setting along Nattika Beach on Kerala's Malabar Coast, providing direct access to a long stretch of relatively uncrowded shoreline. Guests can take leisurely walks along the beach, watch the sunrise and sunset over the Arabian Sea, or simply relax amidst the coconut groves and landscaped gardens that surround the property. The peaceful natural environment forms an integral part of the retreat experience, encouraging quiet reflection and mental relaxation.

A variety of daily and weekly wellness-oriented activities are organised to enrich the guest experience. These include healthy cooking demonstrations, Ayurveda awareness sessions, interactive talks, meditation, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, and mantra chanting, enabling guests to gain a deeper understanding of Ayurvedic living beyond clinical treatments. Educational sessions help guests learn practical lifestyle and dietary practices that can be continued after their stay.

The resort also introduces guests to Kerala's cultural heritage through traditional cultural performances, local celebrations, and community-oriented experiences organised on selected evenings. These activities provide opportunities to experience the region's art, music, and traditions while maintaining the retreat's calm and wellness-focused atmosphere.

For guests seeking gentle recreation, the property features an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, library, landscaped walking paths, medicinal gardens, and open spaces for relaxation. The organic farm and medicinal plant gardens allow guests to observe the cultivation of herbs and ingredients used in Ayurvedic therapies and cuisine, reinforcing the retreat's holistic approach to wellness.

The resort also organises local sightseeing and village experiences, enabling guests to explore nearby attractions, Kerala's natural beauty, temples, cultural landmarks, and traditional lifestyles when appropriate to their treatment schedule. These excursions are intended to provide a gentle introduction to the local destination without compromising the therapeutic objectives of the wellness programme. Information on nearby places of interest and travel assistance is available through the guest services team.

Throughout the stay, leisure activities remain secondary to the personalised treatment programme. Guests are encouraged to participate according to the recommendations of their Ayurveda physician, ensuring that recreational experiences support physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, and the overall objectives of their Ayurvedic journey rather than functioning as conventional resort entertainment.

Ayurveda Philosophy and Approach

Ayurveda forms the foundation of wellness at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort, where health is viewed as a harmonious balance of the body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in the principles of classical Kerala Ayurveda, the retreat focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of illness while promoting disease prevention, rejuvenation, detoxification, and long-term wellbeing. Every wellness journey combines Ayurvedic therapies, physician-prescribed herbal medicines, therapeutic nutrition, Yoga, meditation, and healthy lifestyle practices to restore the body's natural balance and support holistic healing.

The resort follows a physician-led, personalised approach, where every treatment programme is tailored to the individual's Prakriti (body constitution), current health condition, and wellness goals. Rather than offering standardised packages, treatments are continuously monitored and modified according to the guest's progress, ensuring authentic, safe, and effective Ayurvedic care throughout the stay.

Swastha Ayurveda Centre

The Swastha Ayurveda Centre is the clinical heart of the resort, offering authentic Kerala Ayurvedic treatments under the supervision of experienced physicians and trained therapists. Combining traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with recognised quality standards, the centre provides a peaceful environment where personalised healthcare, therapeutic treatments, and holistic rehabilitation are delivered through a multidisciplinary approach.

The medical team comprises experienced Ayurveda physicians, therapists, Yoga instructors, dieticians, and quality coordinators, who work collaboratively to integrate treatments, herbal medicines, therapeutic diets, Yoga, and lifestyle guidance into a comprehensive healing programme designed for each guest.

Personalised Treatment Planning

Every wellness programme begins with a detailed consultation during which the Ayurveda physician evaluates the guest's medical history, Prakriti, lifestyle, symptoms, and treatment objectives. Based on this assessment, an individual treatment plan is prepared by combining suitable therapies, internal medicines, therapeutic diets, Yoga, meditation, and daily routines.

The treatment protocol is reviewed daily, with each guest receiving a doctor's consultation of approximately 15 minutes to monitor progress and adjust therapies whenever necessary. Continuous coordination between physicians, therapists, Yoga instructors, and dieticians ensures that every aspect of the programme remains aligned with the guest's therapeutic needs and recovery.

Treatment Programs

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort offers individualised Ayurvedic treatment programmes for a wide range of health conditions, with particular emphasis on classical Panchakarma, rejuvenation (Rasayana), and holistic rehabilitation. The retreat supports both preventive wellness and the management of chronic diseases, with treatment durations planned according to the guest's condition. While programmes are generally designed for 14 days, the duration may be extended or modified based on medical assessment.

The general treatment protocol follows a structured Ayurvedic approach that may include Snehana (Oleation), Swedana (Sudation), Virechana where clinically indicated, an appropriate Panchakarma procedure selected according to the disease and patient, followed by Rasayana (Rejuvenation Therapy). Treatments are prescribed exclusively by the attending physician, ensuring that every programme remains personalised rather than standardised.

The retreat generally does not perform Raktamokshana (bloodletting therapy). As part of its clinical policy, patients above 70 years of age are generally not accepted for treatment programmes. The standard treatment duration is approximately 14 days, with daily therapy sessions lasting around 1 hour and 45 minutes. All internal Ayurvedic medicines required during the programme are included within the treatment package, while medicines prescribed for continued use after discharge are purchased separately by the guest.

Panchakarma and Ayurvedic Therapies

The retreat provides a comprehensive range of classical Kerala Ayurvedic therapies, prescribed according to each guest's diagnosis, treatment objectives, and clinical response. Depending on medical requirements, therapies may include Abhyangam, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Ela Kizhi, Udwarthanam, Nasyam, Dhara, Vasti, together with the appropriate Panchakarma purification procedures. The combination, frequency, and duration of therapies are determined exclusively by the attending physician following continuous medical evaluation.

Treatments are administered by trained therapists using authentic herbal medicines, medicated oils, and traditional therapeutic techniques to promote detoxification, improve circulation, relieve pain and inflammation, restore physiological balance, and stimulate the body's natural healing and regenerative processes.

Nattika Life – Herbal Medicines and Oils

The resort's treatments are supported by Nattika Life, its in-house Ayurvedic manufacturing division established in 2017. The facility prepares authentic Ayurvedic medicines, medicated oils, herbal formulations, and essential oils using traditional preparation methods, ensuring consistency, quality, and authenticity across all treatment programmes.

Producing medicines in-house enables the medical team to maintain strict quality control while preserving the integrity of classical Kerala Ayurveda. Guests requiring continued treatment after departure may purchase physician-prescribed medicines and medicated oils from the resort for ongoing home care.

Doctors and Wellness Experts

The medical team is led by Chief Physician Dr. Hema K. P., supported by experienced Ayurveda consultants, resident physicians, therapists, Yoga instructors, dieticians, and quality coordinators. Each specialist contributes clinical expertise while working closely with other departments to deliver personalised, safe, and holistic healthcare throughout the guest's stay.

Close collaboration between the medical, Yoga, dietary, and hospitality teams ensures that treatments, therapeutic diets, Yoga sessions, medicines, and daily schedules function as one integrated wellness programme, providing continuity of care from arrival through post-treatment guidance.

Yoga Philosophy

Yoga is regarded as an integral therapeutic component of Ayurveda rather than a separate wellness activity. The resort incorporates Yoga into every treatment programme to improve flexibility, posture, breathing, circulation, mental clarity, and emotional balance while supporting the therapeutic objectives of Ayurvedic treatment. Every Yoga programme is prescribed according to the guest's health condition and medical recommendations.

Yoga Programme

Daily sessions are conducted in the Moksha Yoga Hall and include Meditation, Progressive Yoga, Yoga Lite, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting, and Interactive Yoga Sessions. Each practice is carefully selected to complement the guest's personalised treatment programme, encouraging physical recovery, relaxation, mindfulness, and overall wellbeing.

Yoga Guidelines

Guests are generally advised to participate in one primary Yoga session each day, unless otherwise recommended by the Ayurveda physician and Yoga instructor. Yoga should be practised on an empty stomach, wearing comfortable clothing, and only after sufficient rest following Ayurvedic treatments. Guests undergoing Virechanam or Kashayavasti, or those experiencing illness or physical discomfort, are advised to refrain from Yoga until medically permitted.

To maintain a peaceful therapeutic environment, mobile phones, photography, audio recording, and video recording are not permitted inside the Yoga Hall. Guests are encouraged to practise Asanas before Pranayama, perform Shavasana for relaxation when required, and immediately stop practice if they experience pain or discomfort.

Meditation, Pranayama and Yoga Nidra

Meditation, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting, and Interactive Yoga Sessions form an important part of the holistic wellness programme. These guided practices encourage mental relaxation, emotional resilience, improved respiratory function, stress reduction, and greater self-awareness while enhancing the therapeutic benefits of Ayurvedic treatments. Together, they help guests cultivate a balanced lifestyle that extends beyond their stay at the retreat.

Post Treatment Care

At the completion of the programme, the Ayurveda physicians provide personalised guidance to help guests maintain the benefits of treatment after returning home. Recommendations typically include therapeutic diets, daily routines, Yoga practices, breathing exercises, physician-prescribed herbal medicines, and lifestyle modifications tailored to the individual's health condition and clinical progress.

The resort encourages guests to embrace Ayurveda as a long-term way of life, integrating healthy nutrition, Yoga, meditation, and appropriate herbal medicines into their daily routine to sustain physical health, mental wellbeing, and overall balance long after their retreat concludes.

28 Nights Stress Management Program
  • Description

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort Stress Management Program is designed to address the physical, mental, and emotional effects of chronic stress through the principles of classical Kerala Ayurveda. Ayurveda recognises that prolonged stress disturbs the balance of the Vata and Pitta doshas, weakens Agni (digestive fire), and leads to the accumulation of Ama (metabolic toxins), affecting the body's tissues (Dhatus) and physiological channels (Srotas). The Program adopts a physician-led, holistic approach that focuses on restoring equilibrium through authentic Ayurvedic healthcare supported by personalised nutrition, Yoga, meditation, and disciplined lifestyle practices within the retreat's peaceful beachfront environment.

The Program aims to promote deep relaxation, improve emotional resilience, enhance sleep quality, restore mental clarity, and support healthy nervous system function while encouraging long-term physical and psychological wellbeing. Alongside personalised dietary guidance and sustainable lifestyle recommendations, guests are encouraged to integrate healthy daily routines, Yoga, and mindfulness practices into everyday life to maintain the benefits achieved during their stay. Each treatment plan is individually personalised following a comprehensive consultation and assessment by the retreat's Ayurvedic physician, ensuring that the Program is tailored according to the guest's Prakriti (body constitution), Vikriti (current imbalance), health condition, age, strength, and therapeutic goals, with the duration and intensity adjusted according to individual clinical requirements rather than a fixed treatment protocol.

    Note:

All treatments and program components are personalised following the initial consultation with the retreat's Ayurveda doctor and the guest's health condition. Therapy protocols may vary accordingly.

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort

Nattika Beach, Thrissur District, Kerala.

About the Retreat

Set among 16 acres of coconut palms on Kerala’s Malabar Coast, Nattika has the feel of a village set back from the sea, with individual villas scattered through the grove. From the villas, the property opens out towards its private stretch of beach, with coconut trees lining the area between the accommodation and the sea.

The property is family-run, owned and operated by the Kodath family under Nattika Beach Resorts Private Limited and Nattika Beach Ayurveda and Yoga Centre Private Limited. Ranjit Mathew Kodath is the Managing Director, and several members of the senior team have been with Nattika since its establishment.

The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort opened in 2009 in Thrissur district. The resort has 52 stand-alone, single-storey villas in traditional Kerala style, each with its own verandah. There are four villa categories: Superior Deluxe, Deluxe, Deluxe Twin and Twin. All villas are air-conditioned and have 24-hour hot and cold water. Nattika also offers Nattika Life, a wellness product line inspired by the resort’s Ayurvedic philosophy, extending elements of its approach beyond the property.

Two accreditations underpin Nattika’s medical operation: The Ayurveda centre has renewed  the NABH ( National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accreditation for 2025 to 2028, awarded by the Quality Council of India. NABH accreditation is an independent verification of the clinical systems behind the treatment involving external assessment of healthcare standards and which is renewed through periodic reassessment. The centre also holds Ayur Diamond certification from the Government of Kerala, the state’s highest classification for Ayurveda centres.

The 16-acre property also includes a modest vegetable farm supplying the resort’s kitchen in limited quantity, along with a small-scale medicinal plant garden maintained by one of the senior physicians, and a tennis academy. Waste management follows eco-friendly systems, while the family’s charitable arm, the Kodath Foundation, works at the grassroots in Kerala to support marginalized communities, with a primary focus on youth and adults with disabilities.

Location

The resort sits on a stretch of sand on the Arabian Sea, framed inland by coconut groves and the coastal lanes off Nattika Beach Road. This stretch of coastline is home to several Ayurveda retreats, with Kadappuram Beach Resorts and Sitaram Beach Retreat bordering Nattika, Ahalia Ayurvedic Hospital Valapad and Ayur On the Beach are also located nearby along the coast, giving this part of Thrissur a notable concentration of beachfront and near-beach Ayurveda stays.

The resort manages its own frontage, with shaded huts along the sand and staff present, and public access to it is minimal. The sea is swimmable in season; during monsoon there is undertow and swimming is off. There is no fishing activity on this stretch.

Mornings and evenings are calm, with the sound of waves and birds. The property sits away from construction, road, rail and flight paths.

Cochin International Airport is 65–70 km away, 90 minutes to two hours door to door depending on traffic. The resort operates a complimentary airport shuttle.

Ayurveda Approach

The method follows the classical sequence rather than compressing it. Assessment establishes Prakrithi and Vikrithi, the current state of imbalance. Diagnosis uses the classical triad of darshana (observation), sparshana (touch, including Nadi Pareeksha, pulse reading) and prashna (structured inquiry into digestion, sleep, elimination, energy through the day, menstrual history where relevant, and mental clarity). Treatment then builds in order: stabilise, address accumulation, progress to deeper cleansing once tissues are prepared, and close with a rebuilding phase of nourishing therapy, measured diet and rest. It is a sequence that resists being shortened, which is the argument for a longer stay here rather than a shorter one.

Nattika practises four of the five classical Panchakarma procedures: Vamana (therapeutic emesis, clearing the upper gastrointestinal tract), Virechana (purgation by herbal laxative, clearing the lower tract), Vasti (medicated enema, addressing accumulation in the colon) and Nasya (nasal administration of herbal preparations for the head and neck). The fifth, Raktamokshana (therapeutic bloodletting, applied classically to skin and blood-related disorders), sits outside what the property offers.

Each is sequenced through Poorva Karma, Pradhana Karma and Paschat Karma, preparation, the procedure itself, and the after-care that consolidates it, according to the patient's condition.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas: reception, the beach lounge. In-room Wi-Fi is granted on a doctor's approval during the health consultation.

17 treatment rooms serve 52 villas, roughly one for every three. Eight actively consulting physicians serve the same 52 villas, a ratio of about 1:6.5.

Experts

There are twelve doctors on the property, eight who take up consultation with guests daily and the rest are weighted toward dietetics, quality administration and junior roles, the property also has an on-call doctor.

Dr. Hema K.P, Chief Physician, graduated from Trivandrum Ayurveda Medical College, has practised since 1989 and has led the Ayurveda team here since 2012. She was initiated into the tradition in childhood by her grandfather, the physician Vaidyar Govindan Nambiar, and later worked with Dr. P.K.N. Namboodiri developing an Ayurvedic hospital in Thrissur. Dr. Arul Susan George joined in 2012 and trains and supervises the therapist team as well as running the medicinal plant garden. Dr. Suhas S V has been here since 2013. Three senior physicians with more than a decade each at one property is uncommon in Kerala, where turnover is high and the doctor who sets a protocol is often not the one who sees it through.

Among the specialisms: Dr. Shaheena S holds a certificate in Ayurvedic gynaecology; Dr. Geethu Prakash has over a decade of practice with particular strength in Nadi Pareeksha and Panchakarma supervision; Dr. Ashley Joji holds a Panchakarma therapy certificate from the National Ayurveda Research Institute of Panchakarma at Cheruthuruthy; Dr. Leshma Vijay a postgraduate diploma in Ayurveda cosmetology and trichology and certification in antenatal care; Dr. Karthik Kannan a stated interest in ophthalmology; Dr. Aksa Anna Abraham a certificate in the management of lifestyle disorders. Dr. Nitha Gopalan is Chief Dietitian and has written two books on Ayurvedic diet.

Four-hand therapy, where two therapists work on one guest is made standard here. Staffing follows from that: 51 therapists, 33 female and 18 male for 52 villas.

Ayurvedic treatment is same-gender by convention, and 33 female therapists cover a guest population that is mostly female.

Treatments

Swastha was purpose-built as a clinical facility: 17 treatment rooms, all single-occupancy; two steam bath chambers; four doctor's consultation rooms; two guest lobbies; and a dedicated medicine dispensing room and pharmacy. Four consultation rooms give eight physicians their own clinical space to work in. Guests receive one to two sessions a day, totalling to 105 minutes per day. That length accommodates the full sequence a classical therapy requires: preparation, treatment, rest.

At the end of the programme the medical team issues personalised recommendations covering diet, daily routine, yoga practice, breathing technique and lifestyle modification, tailored to the condition and to what the treatment achieved.

Best Known For

Nattika's centre of gravity is wellness and rejuvenation, and the programme mix reflects that. The condition-specific work is real and covered below, and the larger share of guests arrive to restore rather than to treat a diagnosis.

Preventive and rejuvenative. Anti-ageing, preventive healthcare, beauty care, body detoxification, Rasayana rejuvenation, and Panchakarma as a standalone programme.

Stress and depletion. Stress, burnout, mental fatigue and general exhaustion, treated as a group with a shared approach.

Alongside these, the centre treats a defined list of conditions, grouped below as the medical team groups them.

Musculoskeletal and pain. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis and back pain. Back pain has the most developed protocol on the list, running localised therapies (Kati Basti, Pichu or Upanaha) alongside Kizhi and Vasti therapies, therapeutic yoga, corrective exercise and posture guidance.

Metabolic and lifestyle. Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and obesity. The first three carry disease-specific internal medicines alongside the standard therapy sequence.

Digestive. Irritable bowel syndrome and peptic ulcer disease.

Respiratory. Asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

How treatment is determined. Daily physician consultation of about 15 minutes, Snehana (oleation), Swedana (sudation), Virechana where indicated, an appropriate Panchakarma procedure, and Rasayana rejuvenation. The diagnosis sets the direction; the physician's daily assessment sets the specifics.

Panchakarma scope. Four of the five procedures are practised: Vamana, Virechana, Vasti and Nasya, sequenced through Poorva Karma, Pradhana Karma and Paschat Karma according to the patient's condition. Raktamokshana sits outside the centre's practice. For skin and blood-related presentations where Raktamokshana carries a defined classical application, the approach here works through the other four procedures with internal medicines.

Programme length and structure. Most programmes run 14 days, with duration adjusted to the condition. Daily treatment comes to roughly one hour forty-five minutes. Internal medicines during the stay are covered by the package; medicines prescribed at discharge are bought separately.

Who the property accepts. Patients above 70 are generally outside the intake. The conditions on the list include progressive neurological diseases, and Ayurvedic treatment here works alongside conventional medical care as supportive management.

Wondering whether Nattika fits your condition? A free consultation with our Ayurveda doctor will tell you honestly.

Food

The restaurant is VaPiKa, the name built from Vata, Pitta and Kapha, and the system follows it. Meals are served as a buffet with dishes grouped by dosha. The physicians and dieticians set the guidance during consultation.

VaPiKa is pure vegetarian, and the property is alcohol-free throughout.

The kitchen is led by Chef Joshy Sebastian, in professional kitchens since 1990 and at Nattika for most of the resort's life, with three published books on Ayurvedic and Kerala cooking. He is credited with developing 1,080 Ayurveda dishes calibrated to different constitutions, and that range appears in working rotation. VaPiKa serves authentic Kerala Ayurvedic cuisine on a four-week menu cycle, so a guest on a fourteen- or twenty-one-day programme eats something different at every meal. The heat of each dish can be adjusted to taste, keeping the food approachable for international palates while staying true to its regional roots.

Breakfast runs 7:00–10:00, lunch 12:00–3:00, dinner 6:45–9:45. The wide windows help when therapy slots are assigned. Personalised preparation is available for allergies and specific dietary requirements. Cooking demonstrations and nutrition sessions run for guests who want to take the principles home. Room service is available.

A vegetarian, regional Kerala diet with no alcohol over three weeks is an adjustment for most European palates. The buffet range is wider than guests expect, and the adjustment is to the cuisine itself.

Cultural & Wellness Activities

Yoga runs twice daily, morning and evening, taught by one senior instructor and three teachers. The morning begins with half an hour of meditation at 6:00, followed at 6:30 by a progressive session for practitioners already comfortable with yoga. Newcomers go to the Wellness Yoga session, which is pitched for them. Sessions are held in an open-air pavilion overlooking the Arabian Sea.

Nattika offers a varied daily yoga programme alongside its Ayurvedic treatments, including progressive and wellness yoga, meditation, pranayama, mantra chanting, Yoga Nidra, interactive sessions and weekly yoga lectures. The sessions can also be adapted to individual guest needs following consultation between the Ayurveda doctors and yoga masters. Yoga is an important part of the overall routine.

Around the treatment day, the property offers a few interesting wellness and cultural activities:

  • Herbal garden tours through the medicinal plant gardens, accompanied by resident Ayurvedic doctors, covering the native healing herbs used in treatment
  • Oil factory and organic farm visits on Mondays, showing how the traditional medicinal oils, essential oils and candles are made
  • Ayurvedic cooking demonstrations weekly at VaPiKa, working through wellness recipes guests can cook at home
  • Cycling and local excursions through the coastal fishing villages nearby, past catamarans and traditional coconut harvesting
  • Art and music evenings, including live traditional concerts, tea-time gatherings and beachside bonfires

Hygiene

Villa housekeeping is daily and set to a high standard. Laundry runs daily as well, clothes washed and ironed as routine, and on request beyond.

In the treatment centre, linen handling and the cleaning and maintenance of the two steam bath chambers were both well managed. Waste management across the property runs on eco-friendly systems.

Sixteen acres of coconut grove near the coast brings insects, as it does at every Kerala beachside property. The villas have open windows, and rooms are fumigated once or twice daily.

Local Experiences

The resort runs a structured excursion programme at fixed prices. Most guests under treatment take one or two over a stay.

The nearest sit comfortably inside a treatment day. Thriprayar is fifteen minutes away — the Sree Rama Temple and Vishnumaya Temple, two to three hours round trip. Chemmappilly boating is also fifteen minutes out and runs about an hour, The Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Museum is 45 minutes away, and puts the tradition you're being treated within into historical context.

Guruvayoor is 45 minutes out, four to six hours covering the Sri Krishna Temple and the Punnathur Kotta elephant sanctuary. Thrissur is an hour away, Vadakkumnathan Temple, the Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours, the Mural Painting Museum can be covered in four to six hours

Kochi is an eight-hour trip with two hours of driving each way. Athirapilly waterfalls, Kerala Kalamandalam the classical arts academy where Kathakali and Mohiniyattam are taught — and Chimmini Wildlife Sanctuary each run six to eight hours with a two-hour drive.

The long trips go against a protocol that asks a guest mid-Panchakarma to rest, digest lightly and stay warm. The first two days before the protocol deepens and the last two after it closes are the natural windows for Kochi or Kalamandalam, and the treating physician will have a view on it.

Best Time to Visit

September to May is the conventional window: sunny, dry, comfortable for beach walking and sea swimming. It is also when the property fills, December in particular.

June to August is the monsoon, and for Ayurveda it is the strongest season. Karkidakam, the Malayalam month running roughly mid-July to mid-August, is traditionally the prime treatment period in Kerala — the atmosphere is cool and humid, pores are open, the body absorbs medicated oils more readily, and digestion is naturally lower, which suits the lightened diet a cleansing protocol requires. Kerala families have been treated during Karkidakam for generations. The property is quieter.

The monsoon caveats are real. The sea has undertow and swimming is off. Beach walking is intermittent, days are wet and often grey, and most of the time is spent on the property rather than around it. For treatment, the monsoon months are the better booking. For the coast, September to May.

We can help you plan around the season and your treatment schedule — including whether your condition benefits from a Karkidakam-timed programme.

Practical Considerations

Minimum stays are protocol-driven: seven nights for the Rejuvenation package, fourteen nights or more for Panchakarma. The full sequence (preparation, cleansing, rebuilding) can't be compressed into a week.

The resort doesn't accommodate children under 12, citing both the tranquility of the environment and the fact that young children aren't candidates for Ayurvedic treatment or yoga practice.

There is a large outdoor pool with a jacuzzi, there is no conventional gym; movement here is yoga, beach walking, cycling and tennis. Guests mid-protocol are typically directed away from strenuous exercise in any case.

The single-storey, stand-alone villa layout means almost nothing on the property requires stairs. However, the property provides a wheelchair, accessibility ramps and designated accessible ground rooms on request.

Local primary care and government health centres are three to six kilometres away at Thriprayar, an eleven- to fifteen-minute drive. Advanced multi-specialty hospitals in Thrissur city are about 30 kilometres out, roughly 45 minutes. A minor issue is minutes away; anything requiring a cardiac unit, an intensive care bed or emergency surgery is three quarters of an hour by road. The overnight on-call Ayurvedic physician covers treatment-related concerns within that scope. Guests with a cardiac history, uncontrolled diabetes, recent surgery, or any condition where rapid access to medical care may be important should consider the retreat’s location, around 30 km from the nearest major medical facilities, and disclose their medical history during consultation with WellnessLoka Ayurveda doctor so that an appropriate recommendation can be made

Thrissur is hot for most of the year, and light cotton tends to be the most comfortable choice. Most guests find they pack more than they need, as the property provides robes that are worn through treatment days. There are mosquitoes outdoors and around the villas, and most guests find repellent useful.

Who It's For

The medical depth at Nattika covers chronic cases as readily as wellness programmes, but the property leans toward the guest seeking gentle treatment, a detoxed routine and unhurried time by the Arabian Sea over an intensive clinical course.

Wi-Fi lives in the public areas by design with in-room access granted by your doctor during the health consultation. It's a considered decision: guests arrive to unplug, and the villa is where that happens.Where your stay has to include work, tell your WellnessLoka travel consultant at the outset. It shapes which property we recommend, and if Nattika is the right fit, we'll agree in-room access with the team and doctors ahead of arrival. The yoga keeps the same form daily, which serves the treatment and offers less to someone wanting variety. There are no under-12s, and movement comes from yoga, the beach, cycling and tennis in place of a gym.

Nattika pairs a quiet coastline with serious Ayurvedic practice: single-storey villas among the palms, and a medical team large enough to know how each guest is responding. It suits the traveller who wants restoration more than intensity, and a stay that feels like a retreat from the first morning.

A free consultation with our Ayurveda doctor will tell you honestly whether Nattika fits your case.

This was my first time in India and my first experience with Ayurveda. Information about Ayurveda is relatively scarce in East Asia (such as Taiwan, Japan, and China). I initially chose Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort after researching reviews and official website information online, with a touch of trepidation. I stayed with my daughter (who only accompanied me and didn't participate in any treatments), and after the experience, I can only say: it was an absolutely correct decision! Here, there's none of the overly polite yet distant formality of traditional Asian service. Instead, they genuinely treat you like family, overflowing with warmth and thoughtfulness. As one of the few Asian faces with a somewhat shy personality, I felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed: • Front desk and service team: Extremely observant, always patient and friendly in communication, and any questions received timely and considerate responses. • Rooms and evening service: Excellent housekeeping, and daily chats felt like those with friends. Evenings included aromatherapy towels and (frankincense) mosquito repellent diffusers, providing a relaxing experience. • Ayurvedic Doctors and Healers: The doctors provide daily consultations, and even those who are not native English speakers and have limited communication skills are very enthusiastic and provide detailed explanations. The healers are extremely attentive in their daily techniques and care. • Dining Experience: The restaurant team is lively and enthusiastic, listening patiently to our needs, and the relaxed and enjoyable interaction makes dining a pleasure. • Resort Environment and Beach: Located right next to the beach, the resort is extremely clean and the landscaping is very well maintained. The gardening and maintenance staff are very hardworking and always greet us proactively and kindly when we pass by, making us feel very respected. • Excellent Care for Accompanying Family Members: Even though my daughter didn't have any treatments, the resort still provided her with exceptional care, and she gave it a very high rating! This is a truly wonderful place where you can deeply care for and relax both body and mind. To be honest, I'm even a little conflicted; I don't want it to become too popular so I can't book a room in the future, but honestly, I must give Nattika a very high rating! I truly cherish this experience and am already looking forward to my next visit.

Today, after two wonderful weeks of Ayurveda, we are returning home — 10 kg lighter between the two of us and deeply grateful for this extraordinary experience. We spent these days in a true paradise: a lush garden of coconut palms, a secluded beach with breathtaking sunsets, and an atmosphere of peace and beauty that invites you to slow down completely. From the very first moment, we felt not like hotel guests, but like genuinely welcome visitors. The entire team is incredibly attentive, warm-hearted and thoughtful, and their care can be felt in every detail. This place is absolutely perfect for relaxation, regeneration and self-reflection. The Ayurvedic treatments were outstanding — highly professional, deeply relaxing and truly effective. The food deserves special mention as well: delicious, beautifully prepared and perfectly aligned with the Ayurvedic principles. What impressed us most was the convincing holistic approach. After an in-depth consultation with the doctor and the dietician, a personalised programme was created that combined nutrition, Ayurvedic treatments and yoga. Everything was superbly coordinated, flowing seamlessly from one element to the next — and the results speak for themselves. We were also incredibly lucky that the resort hosted a teacher of traditional Keralan art and mandala painting, Sandhya. Spending many hours with her was a unique and inspiring experience, a state of pure creative immersion that added an unexpected and deeply enriching dimension to our stay. Our heartfelt thanks go to the entire Nattika Resort team for making this possible, and especially to Sandhya for sharing her art and spirit with us. In short: we were absolutely thrilled — and we will most definitely return again next year.
