We stayed at Over The Hill for a day. The room was beautiful with a carved wooden bed and pretty furniture. The bath was big enough though very basic. We had ordered dinner from the hotel and it was great especially the fish fingers. The property itself was beautiful with a lovely pool. The only downside was the housekeeping staff. The bed linen and the towels were not clean. But other staff members were helpful and even booked a taxi for us.
Overall a great stay which could been made better if only the linen and towels were fresh.

Most scenic view from resort. Very quite n calm place. Pool is small but it is very neat and clean. We took sea view room and the view from room is very breathtaking. You need to order food in one hour advance but the food is very delicious. Breakfast was also very good. My boy really enjoyed well. Car parking space is available.

A day well spent at over the hills with my colleagues. The scenery and landscape where spectacular. The service by the team over there was so remarkable. We had lots of wonderful moments with Over the Hill Resort. The ambience, hospitality, and delicious cuisines makes our anniversary more memorable and enjoyable. Truly a serene place tucked into the hills for peace and relaxation. Over the Hill is truly an underrated diamond that should be enjoyed. The architecture is classic hills cape with a mix of modern. The rooms have all the necessary amenities.
The showers and toilets dont have doors or curtains, so keep a towel on the floor for the water. There is always a cool breeze and distant view to the ocean. The staff is very help full and attends to your needs with a smile. The house kitchen is excellent and the complementary breakfast was delicious.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Over the Hill. The service was excellent. Nothing was impossible and the staff is really nice and kind. You need something?! Just ask for it!
The rooms are clean, cosy and confortable. The pool has a great view and the whole garden is just beautiful. The food was amazing and I loved to taste the dishes of the Kerala region. All in all -everything was just excellent. I will come back!

We stayed here for a week in the cottage and had a tremendously relaxing experience. The place was clean and well kept, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Amazing view over the palm forest, mangroves, and out to sea, excellent ayervedic massage, wonderful home cooked food, and interesting trips out to nearby attractions if you want them. We didn't want to leave!

A very well maintained resort with all amenities. We stayed in the resort for three days. Everyone working at the resort were very hospitable and provided customised service based on our requirements. We had a good ayurvedic massage, a backwater boating trip and a day trip to kanyakumari and trivandram all of which the managers at the resort helped arrange.

Traveller tip: the resort is about 20 min walk from the main road. Share autos are available to the puvar bus station from the main road at reasonable rates if guests prefer to explore the place using public transport

Definitely recommended for a quiet getaway !!

If you want a quiet, isolated holiday, this is a good place. We took the sea view room, but the sea is hardly visible. The rooms are artistically done, beautiful rustic feel with good furnishing. The service is good especially the manager Raj Shekar who's service is commendable. We had a good, quiet time, with Ayurvedic massages only problem we had was the power cut in the middle of the night which was a bit scary as our cottage was isolated and it was pitch black all around. The food is average but the breakfast is really nice.
