Vajra is a wonderful place close to Cochin. It has an amazing swimming pool and outstanding service and treatments they offer. I really liked this place, however it’s a little far from everything so it’s hard to get food options close by. Additionally their restaurant food was good but in my opinion adapted to western taste so it isn’t as spicy as in other places and only vegetarian options. Aside from that I’d totally recommend this place for a relaxing weekend

I really enjoyed my experience here. I booked the Yoga package and was very lucky with my yoga teacher. Unfortunately, it’s not that close to the city center but you can easily take the bus or ask for a taxi. The staff here is always happy to help.

I am so happy to have found Vajra for this two week recuperative stay. All of the staff have been professional, caring and friendly. Ayurveda is traditional healthcare, way ahead of its time in that it is completely holistic. Mind, body and soul are catered to here with twice daily yoga classes and incredible meals served up three times a day in the lovely dining room. The daily in-house medicines and treatments are administered by qualified therapists and based on the doctor's daily consultations. The quiet and private rooms are maintained to a very high standard as are the gardens and grounds. I would like to thank everyone at Vajra for the warm welcome which has continued throughout our stay. Natalie

The staff are very nice and eager make the stay memorable. Yoga and meditation sessions were perfect, educational and helpful. The female massage girls were 100% the male massage staff were very good. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals were excellent. Dining area is beautiful, facilities beautiful. Down the lane there is a river which is used by elephants.

I enjoyed my stay with two of my kids 9 and 12 at this Vajra Retreat ayurvedic tremendously. The people are gracious and kind, helpful and truly amazing. Dr. Ashwaria is caring, personable and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Dr. Ashwariya and dr Ranju 😍 The food is SO delicious. healthy and tasty, fresh. Great walking routes, great services. Ahhhh the experience here was absolutely amazing! Our arrival was met with a greeting by the entire staff. Special welcome goodies were also awaiting us. The yoga classes, phenomenal treatments and food were amazing! The rooms were very comfortable and the location could not be any more beautiful. If you are contemplating booking here do not wait!!

I stayed I vajra for a month, and it was incredible. The food is fresh and abundant. The location is beautiful!!! It's true, there are no cafés or shops around the center but we really enjoyed the nature and village walks around. The doctors are highly professional and helpful. The rooms are so comfortable. The staff members are amazing, they really made us feel at home. And the treatments were incredible!!! Thank you so much🙏🏻

It’s a smaller retreat a bit off the crowded places (which is good) in a beautiful setting with yoga classes, a pool and a small garden. The treatments were very good. I felt comfortable immediately with the two masseurs and they were able to get rid of some pain locations I had for a while. The physicians made a competent impression. The change of climate hit me hard when I arrived and they proactively followed up on my health status which was amazing. Food is really delicious and they serve different dishes throughout the week. The place is very clean and I didn’t miss anything really in terms of equipment. However the best is certainly the staff. Every single person you meet is kind, attentive and helpful. Truly wonderful. Thanks so much to everyone for doing a great job and for having a smile every day. I can only recommend this retreat and should I get the chance I will come back 100%. I suggest to take a full week at least. The pricing is absolutely fair and transparent.

An excellent place to learn the fundamentals of Ayurveda and Yoga. The accommodation and food and location is great 👍. A spiritual place that feels like family. I enjoyed the cooking classes, the doctor consultation, the yoga classes and the Ayurveda treatments. I really felt at peace here.

From Kochi airport, a 30 mins drive will take you to a charming and picturesque village called Mahagani Thottam ( Middle of 700 Acre Rain forest ) , which shares the boundaries between a teak forest and the river Periyar. Vajra Ayurveda wellness retreat is situated in a remote, silent, serene, and beautiful area with almost no traffic and Non polluted land for Ayurveda and Yoga. The entire atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the place will surprise you with the familiar touch. 1,Excellent Ayurveda Treatments for Multiple Sclerosis and Auto immune cases 2, Calm and quiet river side retreat for yoga and Mediation The doctors are very quick to respond and constantly adjust the treatment to the needs of the body and its ailments. They take enough time to check on you, listen, talk and explain everything to you. The Chief in charge of me was Dr. Aiswarya. She put together a comprehensive treatment program for me that included yoga, meditation, physical therapy, massage and herbal medication. My health improved gradually and the pain is slowly disappearing. I spontaneously extended my stay because I could see the progress in my healing process - I still have a healing journey ahead of me, but I have never come this far since I got sick. I leave Vajra Hospital very satisfied, with new strategies and tools to use at home - and with hope - to continue my healing process..........
