The property is very old. They should upgrade the property according to requirement. Rooms size is good. Nice location near sea beach. Nice food. Network issue in room. Restaurant service staff are very helpful.

The place is very nice as far as the location is concerned. Morning beach time stroll, and breakfast is one of the finest things. However , it is an old property now, with not much maintained rooms, . Renovation is required in bathrooms and rooms.

Location quite good with a beach.(can't say private beach but its not so easy to access for an outsider). But as the beach entrance is at a steep cliff side it is not accessible for all especially for elderly. No elevator in this property. Rooms are manageable but need maintanance. The manager and front desk were very helpful. Howah beach is nearby and accessible by a steep road. Main things that need improvement are room maintainance and housekeeping,Housekeeping was quite bad. We stayed in the 1st floor and our room was not cleaned in despite requests. Had to follow up multiple times for water refill. But still they are blessed with the location,if maintained properly...they can provide the best budget stay in KovalamMore

Nice hotel- Super breakfast, exceeded expectations. Good choice of fresh fruits, cereals, made to order foods like dhosa's & fresh juices available. Fantastic location, very close to the beach, has own private beach. The rooms are nice and spacious- bathroom a little outdated. The staff and customer service are exceptional at this hotel. Abdul Mateen and Jolly in the restaurant are to be commended for their dedication to guest satisfaction. Definitely recommend

You are requested to produce the following information along with health declaration form:
- Recent medical history for each guest

- Carry breathable and flexible clothes for Yoga
- The voucher will be generated 24 hours after receiving the full payment
- The representative will contact you 24 to 48 hours before your arrival to confirm your check-in time and mode of transport. This is critical to ensure a flawless check-in experience

- Indian nationals are requested to provide photo-identity proof in the form of a driver’s license, voter’s ID or passport. This is mandatory for completing the registration process at the time of check-in
- Foreign nationals are requested to produce their passport with a valid entry visa. For those on employment or permanent residence, passports must include a residential permit

- Children below 6 years of age are accommodated free of charge in parent’s room with no extra bed. Somatheeram & Manaltheeram are Exclusive Ayurveda property and "Not Child-friendly".
- Being an Ayurveda Hospital, Somatheeram do not recommend children below the age of 2 unless otherwise admission is recommended by the Doctor
- Children above 6 years and Children with extra bed will be charged 20% of the double occupancy room tariff.

For you, all meals are provided by Somatheeram chef from kitchen. Outside food and beverages are not permitted in order to ensure that your Ayurveda experience continues to focus on healing with the right food.

Alcohol, smoking and tobacco chewing is not permitted during your Ayurveda program and is strictly prohibited across the Somatheeram Research Institute And Ayurveda Hospital
