At Naivedya Restaurant, an alfresco, sea-facing dining space, every dish is prepared with farm-fresh, seasonal produce that reflects the fertility of Kerala’s land and coast. The menu is predominantly vegetarian, celebrating Ayurveda’s philosophy of light, nutritious, and easily digestible meals. Each creation harmonises flavour, balance, and vitality, with a selection of wholesome salads, freshly pressed juices, fruits, nourishing main courses, and light desserts.
Breakfast is generally offered as a buffet, while lunch and dinner formats depend on the number of in-house guests. During periods of lower occupancy, meals are served à la carte, ensuring personalised service.
Culinary experts, along with resident dieticians, design daily cyclic set menus rooted in Ayurveda and enhanced with coastal and international influences. Dishes are further tailored to individual body constitutions (Prakriti) and Ayurveda treatment plans, making dining an extension of the healing process.
Guests can also enjoy interactive live cooking demonstrations, held every Tuesday and Friday, where chefs and in-house dieticians share recipes, Ayurvedic cooking tips, and insights into spices and their therapeutic value. These sessions are a wonderful way to take the flavours and principles of Kerala home.
For those seeking variety, tandoori delicacies are available at dinner from 6:45 pm to 9:30 pm. True to Ayurveda’s philosophy, alcohol is not served within the restaurant or resort premises, supporting a pure and sattvic lifestyle during the retreat.
The culinary team, led by Executive Chef Sumesh, along with dieticians Dr. Sreekala Santhosh and Dr. Sajithakumari, ensures that every dining experience nourishes both body and mind while remaining true to Ayurveda’s timeless principles.
Rockholm at Lighthouse Beach is designed as a serene Ayurveda and Yoga-centric retreat where guests can rejuvenate amidst nature’s healing energy. The property offers a multi-cuisine, Ayurveda-inspired sea-facing restaurant, authentic Ayurvedic treatments, a Yoga centre, doctor on call, money exchange facilities, travel desk, and guided sightseeing trips, along with private access to a tranquil stretch of Lighthouse Beach.
Each guest room has been created to encourage deep rest and relaxation, with floor-to-ceiling Fenesta glass windows that insulate sound to below 30 dB, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. Highly tempered, sunproof glass and fitted mosquito nets provide privacy, protection, and comfort. Plush linens from Raenco Linen Mills with a thread count above 200, along with double-pile towels, enhance the sense of luxury and restfulness in alignment with Ayurvedic emphasis on restorative sleep.
Guests can enjoy the sea-facing swimming pool with a panoramic deck, overlooking the Arabian Sea and Lighthouse Beach. Rockholm also provides bicycles for gentle rides, encouraging light exercise and mindful exploration of the surroundings.
The property opens directly to a 200-metre secluded sandy cove, often graced by playful dolphins, local fishing catamarans, and vibrant marine life. While the Arabian Sea offers stunning views year-round, swimming is not recommended during the monsoon months (June–August) when the tides are stronger.
Guest rooms and suites showcase a modern, minimalistic art deco style, blending natural woods like Panamanian Teak, Purple Heart, and Pincoda Timber with hand-painted artisan bathroom tiles inspired by the Mediterranean Cuerda Seca technique. A Herbal Garden within the Ayurveda Centre showcases medicinal plants used in therapies and Rockholm’s signature Ayurveda oils, offering guests a chance to connect with the healing power of nature.

At Rockholm, Ayurveda and Wellness form the very foundation of every stay. From 1st August 2023, the retreat has chosen to focus exclusively on Ayurveda Packages, ensuring an authentic and immersive healing journey. A minimum of 7 nights is recommended for the Rejuvenation Program, while a minimum of 14 nights or more is encouraged for the Panchakarma Program, offering guests the depth of cleansing and revitalisation that Ayurveda prescribes.
The Ayurveda Centre is a sanctuary designed to restore harmony to body, mind, and spirit. Operating daily from 9 am to 6 pm, it features three specialised treatment rooms – Vayu, Surya, and Tara, a welcoming Ayurveda lobby, a doctor’s consultation room, and a traditional steam bath chamber. The treatments are personalised under the guidance of experienced Vaidyas, with every therapy using oils and formulations tailored to individual constitutions.
The Herbal Garden is an integral part of the centre, flourishing with medicinal plants such as Neem, Aloe Vera, Brahmi, Wood Apple, Bhringaraj, Curry Leaf, Vetiver, Ginger, and Turmeric, which are used in treatments. Complementing these are flowering plants like Hibiscus, Bird of Paradise, Lilies, Heliconias, and Travellers Palm, creating a tranquil and vibrant setting.
To enhance the experience, the Ayurveda Centre uses Nattika Life Ayurveda Oils, an in-house brand meticulously prepared at the dedicated unit in Thrissur by skilled Ayurvedic Vaidyas. These therapeutic oils are available for purchase in 250 ml and 500 ml glass bottles, making them a cherished takeaway for continued wellness at home.
The retreat maintains a serene, guest-exclusive environment, offering Ayurveda and Yoga solely for in-house guests. Daily Yoga sessions complement the treatments, with guests requested to bring their pool towels for practice. Please note that on Sundays between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, no sessions are held.

Fantastic location although the narrow road to the main entrance can be a bit tricky to find if you're visiting for the first time. The view from the room is amazing. If you are looking for a place where time doesn't exist- this is the place. Quiet, clean, ocean waves rocking you to sleep every night... like stepping into another world. The view from the room was amazing - you can almost touch the ocean. The rock formation just adds to the natural beauty of this property. Beach is private, so it's clean and empty. The hotel also has very well maintained pool and lounge chairs. Towels are always prepared and ready to use. You don't have to go and get them from reception. There's Ayurveda treatments offered at the hotel, which I would rate also as 5 star experience. Cleaning service is immaculate. Restaurant offers different variety of food - vegetarian and non vegetarian. I suggest taking advantage of fresh juice - they have a huge variety. Breakfast is continental/ local/ international. Water is delivered to your room upon request, and there is no limit, which can be so convenient. The staff at this hotel will go out of their way to fulfill any wish of yours to make your stay a 5 star experience. My special thanks to the reception girls- they were absolutely amazing. Everything you need is just within walking distance. Walking to the left There's a "tourist " street, by the public beach, full of shops and restaurants. Going straight and to the right- it's a way to local markets and shops, fresh juice stands, etc. But I suggest taking a tuck tuck because you'll walk uphill.

I felt like I just had the best time of my life. I cannot think of anything else in terms of Ayurveda Wellness other than Rockholm now. Right from the check in I was thrilled by the warmth and welcome offered by the staff there. My room had a view that was nothing less than heaven. As it is an Ayurveda resort, I was immediately given a doctors appointment just after the check-in was done. After a brief consultation I was suggested some treatments which was a part of the package I booked. Food there is prepared with utmost care and precautions to align with your on going treatment. The view from restaurant was breathtaking as well. One of the nicest swimming pool areas I have ever witnessed, and the pool was crystal clear all the time. Staff was eager to help everytime we called them. I went to the pool almost every morning and evening. One of the main Highlight for my stay is the Yoga experience in Morning and Evening. Our Yoga instructors were so helpful especially Mr Abhilasha Soman which identified my hamstring stiffness and helped me to overcome as much as possible during my stay. Moving on to Ayurveda treatments, I was simply amazed by the knowledge of the therapists. Therapists were focusing on the suggested areas of my body every day and they kept checking if I was comfortable. I used to eagerly wait for Ayurveda Massage everyday. Staff at restaurant was very welcoming and helpful, they even prepared a dessert on my Birthday specially for me. Also they were kind enough to fulfil all my daily requests for the food. Beach access is so nice, that you feel like you are just a door step away from the beach. They also have spread a number of beds near the beach so that you can enjoy the waves crashing on the rocks. I would suggest everyone to at least come here for minimum of 10 days, anything less will not feel enough
