Dr R.Sreelatha hailing from Neyyatinkara Trivandrum is adept in this area with an experience of 38 years in her credit.
Qualification
Dr R Sreelatha finished her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine BAM from Kerala University Trivandrum. As she is interested and has knowledge in yoga, she treats and approaches her patients imbibing the essence of Ayurveda and yoga as well. “Experience is the best teacher”, so says the saying proves to be befitting here. Dr R.Sreelatha worked as the manager and chief Ayurvedic consultant, Ayurashramam, Uday Samudra, the chief physician at Somatheeram Group of `companies, South Kerala. Apart from these, she was the director of Ayurveda, Kollenkode, Palakkad, Kerala. She was also the chief physician at, Ayurvedic centre at the Travancore Heritage, Kerala. When she was in Malaysia, at Oze’s Ayurvedic Medical centre, she was the consulting physician for treating lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, spondylitis and rheumatism which are the most recurring and prevailing diseases of the hour. It was during this time that she successfully treated some acute skin problems and stroke cases. The case history of healing drug-addicted patients was a remarkable achievement in Dr R.Sreelatha’s, handful of experiences. Ayurvedic treatment will not be effective unless and until the physician takes care and charts out the proper diet. Dr R.Sreelatha proves to be one of the most sought after Ayurvedic physicians on account of her deep conglomerated wisdom in the specifications like Ayurveda, diet and yoga. Situated in a great location 👌 pick up and drop from poovar parking area by their own boat. Check-in time 1PM and check put time 11AM Rooms are good, but it can be maintained better. Staffs are helping and responding to the needful immediately. Evening time we can enjoy the stunning sunset with a cup of tea/coffee. Complementary breakfast is being provided. It's filled with variety of dishes (South indian) Lunch and dinner coming with 2 options. One is buffet system and another regular restaurant type ordering. If you are planning for a post wedding Photoshoot, then it is the right place for that. Best season to visit poovar island resort is from july to September. October to December the season will be much hotter and humidity. Morning and evenjng complementary sea visiting is being organized. (Mrng 8am to 10am) & (evng 3pm to 5pm) Night light music event is happeneing. It's good to make small dance moves along with your friends/family.. Swimming pool available, kids section and adult section safe water level limit is mentioned. Interested people can use pool from mrng 8am to 7pm with proper swimming dress code. Wonderful experience as we really enjoyed the place. Rooms were clean and they had lot of facilities as well. The short complementary ride to nearby beach is with it. The beach is a must visit. The food here is a bit pricy but worth every penny. They also offer ayurveda treatment, which are to its highest standards. Best place to visit.!

what a beautiful retreat! we had such a delightful time in our floating cottage on the backwaters of kerala. the Ayurveda treatments were superb, the facilities beautiful and tranquil, and we had a buffet feast morning and night! this was the perfect spot for a peaceful and playful retreat! we were welcomed and treated so well by all of the staff.

I stayed here for just one night when on a work trip to the area. firstly the location is just amazing..set on a isle between the sea and the backwaters it offers the best of both worlds. In fact you need to take a 20 mins boat ride thru the beautiful shimmering backwaters to reach the property. The property itself is well maintained with many categories of rooms..budget , mid range and the more expensive floating water villas. Room interiors and amenities are mostly the same across categories although the location and views varies within the property. Amenities wise, it offers a nice swimming pool, gym and ayurveda center, massage and spa center, and 3 restaurants on the property. Spacious with lawns and lots of walk ways offering views of the sea and backwaters. Last but not least, very pleasant staff always ready to help. Great luxury resort to spend a few nights in the peace and quiet of the Kerala countryside.More

The professionalism and kindness of Mrs. Smithy Pradeep was touching for us and we appreciate it very much. Dr. Ajith Kumar and Dr. R. We enjoyed 2 weeks of Ayurveda treatments in the Ayurveda Village of the Poovar Island Resort. This was our 3rd time to come back, because the Ayurveda doctors and therapists take special pride in treating their guests with fully individual care. Daily Yoga and meditation classes in the morning rounded up the program and contributed to improved health conditions. But also the whole place of the Poovar Island Resort with its apartments, the garden and its pool are very clean and well-kept. The Ayurveda restaurant offers a wide variety of healthy Ayurveda food based on local and organic ingredients wherever possible. The service staff is extremely polite and caring and they are fully committed to meeting all our personal requests, Occasionally we also enjoyed the evening program in the hotel with local life music and professional dancers. Overall we can highly recommend Poovar Island Resort as a perfect place for a very special and relaxing Ayurveda vacation with a fully appropriate cost/benefit proportion. Poovar island resort is located in Poovar, Trivandrum. You can't reach here through road. Only medium through which you can reach here is through back waters. This resort is surrounded by back waters. The resort has a jetty where you can board the boat that takes you to the resort. The jetty has enough space for parking your vehicle. The journey to the resort is really enticing and you can enjoy the serenity of Kerala back waters. The boat journey to resort takes about 15-20 minutes. The resort allows both day outing and overnight stay. Visitors can choose between Floating cottages and cottages on the island. The charges are slightly higher for Floating cottages. The ambience is really and is surrounded by lot of trees. Even in scorching heat, you feel slightly cooler. The buffet lunch is served during afternoon and is really good. Resort can array boat ride from and to the sea shore during evening hours. Ayurvedic treatment and spa is also available. Indoor games facilities are also available. Other than floating cottages, rest of the cottages do not get the view of back waters or Arabian sea. The resort is well maintained and Staff's are courteous. American express cards are not accepted presently. I am not sure if they accepts Google pay or Paytm payments. Overall you'll have a pleasant experience during the resort visit. We visited the resort for a day and didn't stay. Hence I cannot comment anything on the room service and quality. It's worth a visit to this resort if you like back waters .More
