The preference for herbal-based Ayurvedic medicines aligns with the state's tradition of classical preparations. Excess oil collected after treatments is repurposed for various beneficial applications. It is provided to small-scale cottage industries for lubricating machines, used in rubberized road tarring work, and blended into a mixture for termite-proofing.
