Mitra Hermitage Ayurveda Hospital is located in Thiruvallam, 6 km north of the famous Kovalam Beach, Trivandrum, Kerala, South India. A short refreshing ride in a country boat from Mitra Hermitage will take you to the sandy fishing beach of Pozhikkara, which lies north of the famous Kovalam beach. Mitra hermitage stands out in providing individualised Ayurveda treatments and Panchakarma treatments for its clients.

Mitra ayurveda has a long – standing Tradition in the field of ancient Indian medical science. It dates back to 1915 when His Highness Sree Chithira Thirunal Maharaja granted permission to Sree P.K.Narayanan Vaidyan to start an Ayurveda pharmacy named after the maharaja in kollam. Our parental pharmacy, Sree Chithra still manufactures high quality special ayurvedic formulations which are used in treating even the most difficult ailments at Mitra Hermitage. The concept of Mitra ayurveda was conceived by Dr.N.Sreedharan, former director of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy. In 1994 he along with Dr.Mahesh Sreedharan started Mitra Ayurvedic Research Centre in Trivandrum. It aimed at pioneering research in ayurvedic medicine and clinical trials. In 1996 Dr.Mahesh Sreedharan along with his wife Dr.Anitha Mahesh started Mitra Centre for Panchakarma in Vizhinjam on the southern end of Kovalam beach. Mitra Hermitage was started in the Year 2009. Terms and conditions for our treatment packages
The treatment schedule is carefully made after the first consultation and daily check ups by our physicians. The number of treatments shown in different treatment packages are the minimum and can be exceeded as per the physicians directives. If the number of treatments does not match the number of treatments shown in the treatment packages due to Non co operation of the patients or any unforeseen illness or cancellation by the patient due to personal reasons will not be supplimented with other treatments or refunded by the management.

- No refund of advance payment will be given to all cancellation effected within 30 days prior to the check in date
- 50% refund of advance payment will be issued after deducting the sending charges if cancellation is effected from 30-45 days prior to the check in date.
- No Show/Early Departure: No refund will be made.
- Any double payment made by mistake using the payment gateway will be transfered back to the senders account after deducting the sending charge using the same payment mode with in 30 days of the receipt.
- On cancellation of the booking and in accordance with our cancellation policy if any refund has to be made it will be done after deducting the sending charges and after optaining the permisiion from the concerned bank with in the period stated above to the senders account only.
- The time period for the refund to the senders account will be subjected to the banking laws and we appologise for any inconvieneience caused to the delay in the refund.
- Management of the Mitra Hermitage Ayurveda Hospital cannot be held responsible for any delay or loss of the refund.
