The commitment extends beyond—working hand-in-hand with local farmers, embracing waste reduction, championing waste management practices, advocating for local diets, safeguarding natural habitats, integrating the community into endeavors, championing women's initiatives, and championing eco-friendly approaches like reusable 'Bharani' earthenware and vibrant floral art adorning cottage beds.

Within the serene Ayurveda kitchen at the resort lies a sanctuary—an enchanting medicinal garden tended with care by Mr. Purushan. This garden serves as the foundation for oils used in Ayurvedic therapies and massages across all CGH Earth Ayurveda centers.

This sanctuary invites visitors to discover a haven of healing guided by qualified doctors, eager to introduce guests to the ancient, side-effect-free wonders of Ayurveda. Offering an array of treatments and traditional Kerala massages, it’s a tranquil initiation or perfect conclusion to a day at Marari.

Embracing the natural environment, CGH Earth harmoniously integrates conservation practices, biodiversity preservation, and organic ingredients into daily living. This holistic harmony extends seamlessly into the architectural essence, fostering a profound connection to nature. This verdant ethos forms the bedrock of the healing process, celebrating the expertise of local communities intertwined with nature for centuries.

Food, often overshadowed in a bustling commercial world, assumes pivotal importance in Ayurveda. Classified based on natural elements and individual body constitutions (Doshas), Ayurveda advocates a mindful, respectful approach to eating. Tailoring specific diets to individual body types, it emphasizes the consumption of fresh, organic food, inviting a deeper, more engaged dining experience.

Understanding individual body constitutions (Doshas) remains fundamental to Ayurvedic principles. It eschews a one-size-fits-all approach, honoring the uniqueness of each person’s physical and mental traits.

Ayurveda urges heightened awareness of bodily signals and cues, crucial for the body's self-healing mechanisms. Neglecting these cues could lead to toxin accumulation, manifesting as diseases. Ayurveda champions mindfulness, aligning daily activities and breathing techniques with inner bio-energies and the environment.

In the Ayurvedic realm, the intricate connection between mind and body takes precedence. It champions holistic solutions for mental well-being, a stark contrast to the chemically induced approaches of modern medicine. By embracing age-old practices like Yoga, meditation, alongside right dietary choices and personalized breathing patterns, Ayurveda nurtures a healthy mind within a healthy body.

Sleep, often underestimated, holds a profound place in Ayurvedic philosophy. An understanding of sleep—its duration, timing, pre-sleep rituals, and dietary considerations—holds the key to overall health and individual constitutions.

Rooted in the belief of a Universal Life Force, Ayurveda intertwines this belief into its therapeutic methods. It encourages recognition of nature’s elements and cycles within our bodies, fostering a deep connection. Guiding individuals to acknowledge these natural elements within themselves, Ayurveda opens pathways to tap into these energies for a balanced, harmonious life.

Gerne wieder ! (Translated by Google) A wonderful oasis of peace. Spacious facility with very friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and great semi-open bathroom. Service, cleanliness and food are top, but that's what you can expect for the price. We always had a shady spot at the front of the beach under the palm trees. It has enough loungers and hammocks. I enjoyed a few super relaxing Ayurveda treatments. The hotel is totally committed to sustainability, nothing is made of plastic, great. We also noticed very pleasantly that the staff are not as focused on drinking as we have experienced in other Indian hotels. The audience is mainly Western European, so it's pleasantly quiet. Gladly again !

Splendid holiday at mararikkulam beach resort with friends. Huge green property E with lots of birds trees butterflies and vegetable Garden running into a beach which is guarded by life guards with kites. The restaurant food was good the Beach Shack with bar was an awesome place to drink on with friends. Good breakfast spread and dinner buffet good continental food at the bar. The spread of drinks and snacks can be better. The swimming pool is good runs from 3 feet to 8 feet. Yoga session and instructor very good and helped me turn inwards for a few moments. Loved the pop-up tea cart with snacks in the evening. Ayurveda head massage and steam were rejuvenating. The staff always great you and they allowed us to stay over after the checkout for a long time the resort created space for me and my friends to be in thank you.

Ouahhh... Houra (Translated by Google) The best place to be calm and follow top Ayurvedic treatments. Ayurvedic treatments also mean Ayurvedic diets for at least a week. For me, as a carnivore, it's not easy. The first 3 days are terrible, but seeing the results... Wow... Hooray

Great for nature lovers and planet-friendly travelers. Lovely beach-facing property with verdant flora and fauna spread out over acres of land. Ideal for those who are looking for Ayurvedic treatments. Non-local tourists will love it. However, it is a bit on the expensive side. The selection of food wasn't up to the mark. But overall, I'd recommend a visit, especially for the weary soul.

Let's give a few positives for the property cause rest there is a long list of negatives. Beautiful property with a semi-private kind of beach and one of the best pools in Kerela. The room size is really amazing. Now let's come to the negatives - We checked in to the property and the team was making us aware of the property when the restaurant informed us that we have our lunch as the kitchen was about to shut down. -We ordered fish staying at the Beach property but was smelling and tasted stale and it was been replaced by the Restaurant team. -They didn't have a proper bartender and the one behind the counter had no knowledge of mixology which is not expected at a 5* property like CGH Group. -The rooms are so wide apart that it takes forever to cover from one end to another. -Now at Dinner the food was way beyond average, the soup was also a disappointment. The snacks were also way below average. - Upon the server's recommendation we ordered Butter Chicken which was so terrible that even after returning it the replaced order was also not palatable. The chicken was so rubbery and terrible to eat. -So now in the morning it was raining and in order to go up to the restaurant we requested umbrellas which never came across to our rooms and we had to go to the restaurants being lightly drenched. - Even the breakfast was such a disappointment with raw omelets and even the south Indian dosa and vada not up to the standards. -Now upon check-out we requested for luggage to be collected for us and it took them almost 30-45 min to get the luggage even the billing took so much time which seemed very vague. -Now upon complaining either the Hotel Manager/ Guest Relation Manager usually come up to the guest to sort out the issues, here it seemed like the hotel was not at all bothered to even address the issues. LUXURY PROPERTY BEEN RUN LIKE SARKARI SETUP !!!

there were areas of water-logging inside the resort whr u had to go through waters above ur ankle just go from one place to another. few of the activities were cancelled. ambience was not apt for 5star. like u feel some ordinary 3star hotel. plane white walls, plain furniture (could have some carvings). we had a lot of issues with mosquitoes. especially while using the open bathrooms at night, while bird watching, having dinner and it was really scary esp in a tropical monsoon when thr is so much of malaria/dengue going around. food was bad. since i didn't like local kerala . restaurant manager and service were definitely good. not much options for indoor games too.. good things: people of kerala/staff were courteous. good service. beach is good. ps: think twice if u are thinking of visiting in monsoon. cant comment on winter/ summer season. i feel rates were a bit high acc to the facilities/rooms.

My wife and I stayed at Marari Beach for three nights in January 2018. The resort is beautiful, the food is excellent and the staff very attentive, well trained and always happy to help you. The beach is clean and long so you can walk for hours at the sea front. So what is the problem? We arrived on Saturday and the neighbours were hosting a private party for two days with a noise at the level that you could not escape anywhere. Even when I walked for a mile at the beach, I could still hear it. In addition, on Sunday morning at 6 am another neighbour - a church of a Christian denomination broadcasted their mass to the whole neighbourhood i.e. could be heard through the closed doors of our room so it was a compulsory wake up much too early for our liking. One more thing - the resort is dry as they do not have a licence to serve alkohol, so you have to enjoy your fantastic seafood with a glass of lemonade of some description. So all in all beautiful but to be avoided on weekends and bring your own booze which you will be able to drink in the your room but not with your meal.
