Isola di cocco is. Little heaven in Kerala! It is a peaceful place in the middle of the backwaters. Our stay was fantastic: the Ayurvedic treatment is high quality, the doctors and therapists very professional, thoughtful and kind. The canteen was absolutely delicious, the food is fresh, organic and catered to our doshas. The staff was very helpful. In the morning the yoga class made it a great start! We feel like a new person after 7 days of treatment. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a genuine Ayurvedic experience!

Beautiful gardens, nice and friendly staff. Good pool (a bit too warm) and Very relaxing ambience. Fantastic ayurveda centre. Best massage in India. The food is Very good but the ambience in restaurant had room for improval. I would Dine around the pool. That would give an extra touch to the over all impression. Not much to do than just relax. Go for a run is either up rosaröds the main road East or west

A nice well laid out over a very large area with all ensuite AC cottages and Ayurveda Village. Nice clean rooms with daily housekeeping, large swimming pool, Good Ayurveda treatment facilities, good areas to go for walk and relax with easy boat access to the Beach. Good experienced Doctors and Massage Therapists, good customer services team, tasty Vegetarian diet dishes and scenic property overlooking a Lake, River and in the Near Distance Arabian Sea! Also had a nice back water one hour boatride complimentary which was lovely. Daily one hour Yoga sessions in the mornings. Fully functional wifi in all areas and very well run by the Husband and wife team of General Manager Mr.Niseedh.R and Manager Mrs. Rangitha. Just need their steam equipment to be updated. I Recommend this peaceful & scenic Ayurveda property.More

Viaggio Ayurvedico Sono stato qui con mia moglie per approfondire l'ayurveda. Il resort è molto pulito, la cucina del ristorante Ayurvedico è eccezionale, difficilmente trovate di meglio. Lo staff è sempre sorridente e molto cordiale. Il centro Ayurvedico ha le dottoresse che sono davvero molto brave, i massaggiatori sono dei grandi professionisti. Sempre con il sorriso. Ci hanno fatto dimenticare completamente lo stress che ci portavamo dietro e ripartiamo con pace e tranquillità. L'anno prossimo torniamo sicuramente. Prezzi davvero economici. Consigliatissimo .

Location is really perfect. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms have a very southern traditional theme. Restaurant is overlooking the sea and there is a beautiful and well maintained pool nearby. You have both beach and backwaters in the same property. Ayurvedic treatment also available on request. It was indeed a great retreat for our family.

We stayed in a room in a heritage cottage, it was spacious with all need facilities inside: kettle with tea and coffee, fridge, water, sitting area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was polite and helped with all questions, food was also tasty. The swimming pool was clean and there were no people. All the territory was very beautiful with plenty of blooming flowers, birds, and green corners. Loved being there and will plan to come again.

We stayed three weeks in this expansive garden resort and lived in a typical Kerala cottage with a splendid outdoor bathroom. The food was absolutely heavenly, it was a pleasure to go to the treatments every day. Even though this large resort was surrounded by waterways and lush gardens we had absolutely no mosquitoes bothering us. The houses near the reception can be noisy at night, if new guests arrive and make noise, occasionally you can hear loudspeakers with church singing early in the morning, otherwise it is quiet.

visited puvar last week and stayed in the resort for 3days. The resort is in calm and peaceful place and offers a good range of ayurvedic treatments. Staff is really nice and helpful. The food spread was okay though much better than the place we visited earlier in Kerala. The drawbacks were around room as they are not lightened up well. We were welcomed by baby lizard in the washroom. It was a wrong choice by us as we were looking for a beach resort which this one is not. Overall if you are not looking for adventure at beach and love Ayurveda, this is a good to go resort.

The resort has a nice garden with a good variety of flowers etc. The staff was courteous and were helpful. The housekeeping was quite good too. General service quality was good. There were hammocks around, but most were damaged and they did not have spares. Food: The food was decent. As vegetarians we did not have much choice, but the local Kerala items were well done. The North Indian dishes leaves a lot to be desired and The buffet is not worth the price. Rooms: Spacious and clean, but would have preferred better lighting. There should have been more electric sockets. The water is salty leaving one wonder why it is not desalinated. It leaves you sticky after a bath. Beach: It is not a beach resort as mentioned nor they have a private beach. The access to beach (think south poovar beach) is by a boat and it stops by 530 pm. We never felt comfortable with the beach though. Pool: Not very clean. Wish they enforce a shower before the dip. Practically it was a community bath. Ayurveda: Although priced higher, the rejuvenation massage felt great and leaves you yearning for more. Avoid the weekends and holidays as the property gets crowded and service quality dips considerably. I wish their conference room near the restaurant is sound proofed as they convert it to a dance floor when they have corporate events in the evenings. That makes me wonder if I would even call it a resort. Net-net it's an Ayurvedic center (although not used extensively by me) and not a beach resort as advertised.More
