I came to Ayurveda Loka from Canada. Ayurveda Loka gave me a customized treatment (Panchakarma treatment) for my health problems, and I find that it is not like a general treatment. The doctors and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The day starts early morning with yoga which kept me energized throughout my daily routine. For a person who loves nature, this is the perfect place covered with fruit trees and vegetation. The special chef uses the vegetables grown in the garden to prepare the daily Ayurveda meals. The construction of the Ayurveda Loka is in such a way that the temperature is maintained naturally at the centre and the place is one with nature. The rooms are very spacious – hygiene is good. Ayurveda Loka is a very eco-friendly place. Along with the oil massage and internal medicines – I feel my metabolism has increased. The Ayurveda treatment, Ayurveda herbs, Herbal tea, yoga and nature walk have made me feel energized after these 14 days. I feel that I have better sleep, better weight control, and my pain has subsided. Not only has Ayurveda Loka improved my physical health, but also made me a happier person. I really feel rejuvenated and will definitely visit again.More

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at Ayurveda Loka for my Panchkarma treatment after consulting with Dr. Aparna for over a year. The place, environment, caring and skilled doctors, courteous and compassionate therapists and staff, yoga and other purposeful activities, farm-to-table nourishing and delicious meals, effective treatments, all of these contributed towards me feeling my best physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I highly recommend this place for authentic Ayurvedic treatments.

I had the most beautiful experience in Ayurveda Loka. First the property and the surroundings are wonderful: beautiful buildings, comfortabel rooms, cosy dining area, beautiful treatment center, green scenery,… The tranquility and the quiet atmosphere is already relaxing. The doctors are highly qualified, the therapists are well-trained, the treatment is authentic. It was the best I had. The whole staff does everything to make you feel comfortable and feel at home. I felt very nurtured and everyone has a very special place in my heart. Thank you Ayurveda Loka for your care!

Edakkal caves
The Edakkal caves are two natural caves at a remote location at Edakkal, 25 km (15.5 mi) from Kalpetta in the Wayanad district of Kerala in India. They lie 1,200 m (3,900 ft) above sea level on Ambukutty Mala, near an ancient trade route connecting the high mountains of Mysore to the ports of the Malabar Coast. Inside the caves are pictorial writings believed to date to at least 6,000 BCE, from the Neolithic man, indicating the presence of a prehistoric settlement in this region. The Stone Age carvings of Edakkal are rare and are the only known examples from South India besides those of Shenthurini, Kollam, also in Kerala. The cave paintings of Shenthurini (Shendurney) forests in Kerala are of the Mesolithic era (middle stone-age).
