Aarogyamantra, a family-owned healing center, has been offering Naturopathy and Yoga since 1976, with medically qualified doctors and therapists in each respective field. The center is dedicated to promoting a state of health ("Aarogya") through sacred messages ("mantra") for a wholesome lifestyle.
In a modern setting reflecting Kerala's healing traditions, Aarogyamantra provides integrated therapies, including Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation, and Spa treatments. The focus is on delivering high-quality care, offering detoxification, integrated treatment packages, wellness packages, spa packages, and lifestyle correction packages tailored to specific health conditions. The approach considers the holistic well-being of individuals, addressing the state of mind, emotions, physical body, lifestyle, and goals, not just the physical symptoms. Formerly known as Mahatma Gandhi Nature Cure & Yoga Centre, Aarogyamantra is now led by the founders' son, Prince, and his wife, Bindu. Dr. Aleyamma Punnoose, one of the founders, remains actively involved in the center's operation and management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to all clients.

The Ayurvedic dining experience at Aarogyamantra Ayurveda Village is a holistic journey, blending ancient wisdom with contemporary wellness. It begins with a deep understanding of Ayurveda's fundamental principles, focusing on individual body constitutions (Dosha), preferences, and overall health. This personalized approach ensures that the dietary plan aligns with each guest's unique needs.
Aarogyamantra offers exclusively vegetarian options. However, for Ayurvedic guests, the menu and meal timings are determined by the doctor after a consultation. Meals are served in the in-house restaurant, Amrit. Guests can savor traditional Kerala cuisine, Ayurvedic dietary dishes, and South Indian fare, indulging in a delightful culinary journey.
Aarogyamantra offers an enlightening day tour for an additional fee
Use of the indoor pool, steam room, sauna, and gym is complimentary for those who reside at Aarogyamantra. Operational hours are from 830am to 7 pm, please speak to the manager if you wish to use these facilities outside of these hours. Please note that this area is unsupervised so please ask one of the staff members to take you around to the area to make you familiar with the facilities before use.

Ayurveda, an ancient traditional system of medicine dating back 5000 years, translates to the 'Science of Life.' According to Ayurveda, everything in the universe is composed of combinations of five elements (panchamahaabhutas).
Naturopathy, also known as Nature Cure, is a drugless, non-invasive, and evidence-based system of medicine. It emphasizes treatments with natural elements based on vitality, toxemia, self-healing capacity, and principles of healthy living. Therapeutic modalities include fasting, diet and nutrition, hydrotherapy, mud therapy, physical therapy, oriental therapy, massage, lifestyle, and counseling.
Nirvana, the Aquafit area with an indoor pool, steam, and sauna, offers a peaceful retreat overlooking the serene garden.

Dr Aleyamma Punnoose is the first qualified lady Naturopathy doctor from Kerala who served at the Government Nature Cure Hospital in Varkala, Kerala for many years.
Consultant Ayurveda Physician Dr Sreejith presently works withVaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, Thrissur.His expertise is in the field of Panchakarma- Vamana, Virechana, Vasthi, Nasya, Raktamoshana is impeccable. He is also specialized in para surgical procedures of Ayurveda like Ksharakarma and Agni karma. Dr Sreejith has recently conducted a research work on pharmaceutical analytical study of Patali Taila and its experimental study in burn wounds and published an article on the same in International Journal of Research in Ayurveda and Pharmacy (IJRAP) Dr Sreejith has been working for Aarogyamantra since Spring 2020 and continue to support our RMO, Dr Bismi, and available as a consultant Ayurveda physician for Aarogyamantra clients during weekends. We have been very impressed with Dr Sreejith’s clinical knowledge in the field of Ayurveda, his patient management skills and commitment to the field of Ayurveda.
Qualification
Consultant Ayurveda Physician who completed his BAMS degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery) form Chennai in 2014. He started his practice as an RMO at local Hospital in Kottayam for 4 months. Then he did his post-graduation degree from Mangalore in 2017.He worked as assistant professor in shri Siddhivinayaka Ayurveda medical college& hospital, Belgaum and Karavali Ayurveda medical college and hospital,Mangalore. Then he served as a doctor in Biphalife Ayurveda centre, kottayam.
Consultant Ayurveda Physician Dr Lakshmi has a special interest in Ayurvedic psychotherapy, counselling, relaxation treatments, and Panchakarma programmes. While the importance of physical health is widely acknowledged, the area of mental health literacy has been comparatively neglected. This is very much needed in the modern world where there is much support needed in mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the mental health of people all over the world. Aarogyamantra is very much focused on the holistic (physical, mental, and emotional) well-being of everyone coming to us for help. Dr Lakshmi lives with her husband and young daughter near Aarogyamantra, who has special talent in classical dances such as Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam. Aarogyamantra is very pleased to have Dr Lakshmi as part of our Holistic healthcare team.

Dr Lakshmi is our Consultant Ayurveda Physician who completed her BAMS degree (Bachelor Degree of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery) form SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Karnataka in 2016. She started her practice as a production controller at Vasudeva Vilasam Herbal Remedies Pvt Ltd. For over 2 years where she was involved in research and learnt a lot about manufacturing and production of Ayurveda medicines and supplements. Along with that role she was a visiting consultant at Sri Krishna Ayurvedic clinic Trivandrum where she was involved in the clinical care of patients including experience providing panchakarma programmes. Dr Lakshmi then went to do her Masters Degree in Manasa Roga (Ayurvedic Psychiatry)from SDMCAH, Karnataka and completed this in 2021.

Dr Priya Punnoose is one of our on-call Ayurveda Physicians who qualified from a leading Ayurveda college in Karnataka, India in 2012. As soon as her course was completed, she has done her 1-year internship at SDM Ayurveda college and hospitals. Dr Priya worked at different clinical settings following this including some of the well-known Ayurveda centres for eye care, Arthritis etc.

Dr Gayathri. G graduated with BAMS degree from SSRAMC , Belgaum in 2012. Dr Gayathri started her career from Amritha Ayurveda ,Kalady where she gained experience in classical Ayurvedic treatments. She also has 3 years experience working at Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic hospital, Koothattukulam, specialising in Panchakarma and Eye treatments. Dr Gayathri set up her own clinic for 2 years which gave her confidence in consulting, planning and executing treatment procedures. She also worked for a year at St. Marys Ayurvedic Clinic Kuravilangadu before joining Aarogyamantra. Dr Gayathri is married with two children. Her hobbies include reading books, listening music, gardening etc.
