The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The satvic vegetarian food was absolutely delicious and so healthy. The whole property is beautiful and well-maintained. We loved every moment of our stay!

Our family recently spent a week at Mody Yoga Resort in Rishikesh, and it was a truly memorable experience. The resort is beautifully located on the banks of the sacred Ganga, offering serene views of the river directly from our room and balcony. Each day, we enjoyed peaceful walks along the river and had the privilege of participating in the Ganga Aarti at Trivedi Ghat, which was deeply moving. The hospitality at the resort was exceptional—the staff were attentive and courteous, and special thanks go to the manager, Mr. Ajay Singh, for his outstanding service. Overall, our stay was delightful, and we look forward to returning

I booked a nine day Panchakarma package but this facility is not currently set up to provide this product. If I rated just on delivering personalized Panchakarma with knowledgeable Dr consultation, meal and treatment plan then the rating would have been one star. In it's favour, the property is right on the river (don't go for city views, rooms are small and noisy) with lovely balconies and outdoor spaces to enjoy. The chefs and kitchen staff work very hard to meet guests requirements, food is good but not too much variety, especially if you're staying a week or more. There was no special diet plan offered other than a selection of items from buffet or kitcheri. My highlight was the quality of the treatments offered, especially from my therapist Pooja. They were first class. I didn't find reception staff to be very engaged in my enjoyment... Not even a thank you or how was your stay with us when checking out. House keeping work hard to service rooms daily which is always nice to come home to. The yoga and pranayam practices were very mild. Rhea made an effort to make these sessions interesting. They have a beautiful room on the roof top for practice. Fitness centre and walking along the river to triveni gaat also a highlight. I have rated my experience as if the product was a wellness spa.... I strongly advise against coming for Panchakarma. During my stay I had about 15 mins access to the Dr who was not at all engaged in my program (which was not personalised). I was offered a different Dr to see me on my second last day, but I didn't see the point. I'm sure with the right level of Dr competence and engagement, this program could be offered well by this team who are capable and keen to provide guests with the experience they are paying for.

We had such a wonderful time at Modi Yoga! It is the only resort that is all inclusive (all 3 meals and yoga/wellness ) and is alongside the Ganges River. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. The chef, kitchen team, and service staff went above and beyond — as a vegan family avoiding nuts, we were blown away by how carefully they customized every meal for us. The food was honestly so good that we ended up staying an extra day just to enjoy it more!

The yoga and meditation sessions were super relaxing and perfectly matched to our skill levels, so we felt comfortable but still challenged in the best way. Having Ayurvedic doctors available 24/7 was a huge plus — each of us got a personalized consultation and plan, which made the experience feel really tailored.

The massages were heavenly, and our rooms were modern, spotless, and kept perfectly clean by the amazing housekeeping team.

We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and honestly a little sad to go. Can’t wait to come back!

Modi was SUPER clean, a very modern resort, updated rooms, above and beyond staff (especially Chitel at reception), gorgeous views, huge rooms, amazing balconies, and the BEST in-room showers in India! Very peaceful with rooftop mediation and yoga classes with views, a full gym, and the spa is very Western style with lockers, robes, and a steam shower. Upscale and luxury, and very safe with a security guard on the deck 24/7.

Me & my husband stayed for 2 nights during our wedding in Rishikesh, the view of the mighty Ganga river from the hotel is absolute serene beauty and the private entrance to the river was really convenient, the staff was amazing & friendly , loved the “Satvik” food specially. One of the best experiences so I highly recommend this wellness center

The staff were welcoming and attentive, especially Rajan. My room was immaculate with a stunning view. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the spa was incredibly relaxing. The retreat's central yet peaceful location was perfect. Highly recommend!

A special thanks to Dr. Himani for thoughtfully designing our wellness plan and guiding us through each therapy. The meditation and pranayama sessions were truly grounding. And waking up to the serene Ganga ji river each morning—pure gratitude.

My mom and I went for a 15-day Ayurvedic Panchkarma program, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay (and came back feeling incredible)!

About the resort: it's beautiful, clean, cozy, and comfortable - the whole resort and also the rooms. Everything you need is within the property, and you don't even need to leave if you don't want to. Every single staff member is so warm and hospitable, it really made a difference. Coming from the USA, I was nervous about drinking the water, etc., but everything is filtered and very safe - I ate and drank everything. We were on a special diet, but the food was healthy and delicious. The location is prime - just a mile walk on the Aasta Path (right at the back of the hotel) to Triveni Ghat, where a beautiful aarti happens every night and there's a market for some light shopping.

About the program: our treatment plan was quite intensive, but the doctors, nurses, treatment therapists, etc., are all very skilled and knowledgeable, and our days were so well-organized. We put trust into the process and did what they said, and we felt a sense of peace because we knew there was a doctor on-site 24/7. Everyone took such great care of us, and was sincerely invested in helping us feel better.

Overall, this was an incredible stay, especially as it's on the banks of the Ganges, at the foothills of the Himalayas - the views are unreal. The spirituality of Rishikesh and the location of our stay just added to our experience. I would like to especially thank the staff at Modi Yoga Resort, because they made our stay so special and memorable.

Hospitality, kindness, and ambience. Parvati, Rajen are incredible assistance. The entire wellness crew are professionals at what they do and the food is very comforting. The Ganges River is merely 100 feet from your room where you can walk along its banks. Must stay.
