I joined the Abhyanga course for one week (6 days). It was a nice opportunity to get a first introduction to the techniques and basic principles of Ayurvedic massage. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we received a small booklet with helpful information as well as video material, which is great for reviewing and practicing even after the course. The atmosphere during the training was relaxed and enjoyable, and overall it was a pleasant learning experience.
At times the teaching felt a bit surface-level, and I would have appreciated more detailed guidance and proactive feedback during the practice sessions. A bit more individual correction and deeper explanation of certain techniques could make the course even more valuable.
Despite, I'm glad to joined the course - thank you ✨
What a well nourishing experience, I went in for a panchakarma, which is not always easy. The doctor consulted adequate, the space is clean and the beds are super comfortable. Yet, what makes this place so loving are the people. The cook, who is magician and a walkingAyurvedic food encyclopedia, the treatments are done by the sweetest therapist who are so present, and the manager is just the best, always there when you need something, calm and intriguing conversationalist. There is so much more, yet go explore for yourself
From the very first day, I felt deeply cared for, supported, and safe throughout the entire Panchakarma process.
The level of professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding. Every single person — from the manager (Sagar) and his team, to the doctors, therapists, and teachers — works with genuine professionalism, care, and respect. I felt completely looked after at all times.
The food made my body feel light, healthy, and well nourished. From the chef to the kitchen staff, every meal was prepared with so much love and awareness. The food didn’t just taste good — my body genuinely felt grateful after every meal.
I am especially thankful to Janki, who was in charge of my treatments. She truly has healing, magical hands, and beyond her skill, she is incredibly kind, gentle, and sweet. Each session felt deeply restorative.
I would also like to highlight the Pranayama teacher, whose classes were absolutely wonderful and deeply grounding. His guidance added a beautiful dimension to the entire experience.
The cleaning staff, the kitchen team, and the therapists — everyone contributed to an environment that felt impeccable, warm, and deeply caring.
I am deeply grateful for this experience and I cannot wait to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Ayuskama is a very special place that I wholeheartedly recommend.
I chose Ayuskama for mine and my mother's Panchakarma treatment after a lot of research and prior discussions with their team, and the experience surpassed my expectations. Initially planned for 10 days, we extended our stay to 14. The place is impeccably managed by a very professional and humble team - from our daily therapy and consultation appointments, to the thoughtfully-prepared meals, to delivery of our medicines - everything felt seamless and prompt. Shoutout to Sagar, Narendra, Janki and Shaalu for making us feel at home and providing a holistic wellness experience.
The daily yoga and meditation classes were good too - the teachers gently challenged and pushed us to expand our limits and learn new techniques. We will return to Ayuskama every year, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for Panchakarma treatments.
It was an amazing experience staying at Ayuskama. After our panchkarma treatment we felt very relaxed and there sattvic food is very healthy. We were there for 3 days treatment and planning to have atleast 7 days in near future. Dr Vinod kumar guided us about doshas and how to balance it with food, meditation and pranayam. They give us detailed information about what food to eat and what not as per our dosha imbalance. We want to thank Dr Vinod, Sagar, Rohan s, Janki and there entire staff for such a homely hospitality. The location is amazing, away from the hustle bustle of Rishikesh city and there is a river as well with waterfall nearby.
Fabulous experience
The entire center – with its staff, yoga teachers, Ayurveda doctors, and the manager – was simply wonderful. I not only learned a lot about yoga theory and practice, but also grew on a personal and human level.
We were welcomed with open arms and open hearts. There were deep conversations, helpful tips about the surroundings, and even car rides offered – the warmth was present everywhere.
The daily program was very enriching: three times a day we enjoyed sattvic food, meditation, yoga classes, Ayurveda treatments training, and even a cooking class. Learning about Ayurvedic treatments and massages in particular brought me so much joy.
A very special thank you goes to Sagar, the manager, and to Rohan, my massage teacher – you both made this stay truly unforgettable.
I will definitely come back and can’t wait to visit again!
Ayuskama is an amazing place! The people there are so warm and welcoming — I felt like part of a small family, even though I was there for only 5–6 days. As a solo traveler, I truly felt like I belonged. The massages were wonderful, and the satvik food was both delicious and nourishing. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful and heartwarming experience.
Thank u
Namaste ?
