Type Of Ayurvedic Treatment/s
Which includes five major procedures, is meant to purify the whole body by eliminating the accumulated toxins from it. This package includes treatments like Virechana (Purgation), Vamana (Emesis), Snehavasthi (Medicated Oil Enema), Kashayavasti (medicated decoction enema) & Nasya (Nasal Administration). The specialty of this treatment is that it can be administered both in a healthy, as well as thediseased person. When a healthy person subjects himself to Panchakarma, it has a preventive, restorative and rejuvenative effect on the body.
Deepana and Pachana :
The purpose of these treatments is to keep the digestive fire at its best, by means of oral medication
Oleation and Sudation
are the most important preparatory measures to have Panchakarma (purification therapies). This includes various types of whole body therapies like Synchronized massage, Pizhichil (kayaseka), Njavarakizhi, Choorna swedam, Pathrapotala swedam, etc, can be done both internally as well as externally. Medicated ghees or oils are also administered orally for the purpose of Internal Oleation [Snehapana]. Both these methods lubricate the body channels and loosen the toxins accumulated in the body. Apart from this, localized therapies like Shirodhara, Shirovasti, Greevavasti, Kadeevasti, Nethra tharpanam,Thalam, Lepanam will be also done in specific cases.
In the Eliminative Phase,
the physician, based upon the condition of the patient's disease, decides the type of the Panchakarma treatment.More -
Major Benefits
Rasayanas are immuno - modulating drugs, formulated by Sages of Ancient India. This package is aimed at improving the body's resistance power against diseases. This is usually done after cleansing the body. Rejuvenation alone or in combination with Panchakarma tones up the muscles, strengthens the system, invigorates the body and calms the mind. The medicated herbal oils used in this process improves complexion, imparts a glowing luster to the skin.

All cottages are with attached bathrooms and open to sky shower area; both having RO purified hot and cold water facilities. This was the first time for me and my mum doing an Ayurvedic retreat and we really couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our 21 days panchakarma experience. Sitaram Beach Retreat is an excellent resort that goes above and beyond for your health and happiness. Next to the professional consultations and Ayurvedic treatments, every staff member is committed to provide the best service possible- From check in/ front desk over the whole kitchen staff to the room cleaning service and gardeners. We particularly enjoyed the awareness sessions such as group and private Yoga as well as Pranayama and we hope that in the future the resort will continue to focus and expand these sessions. Heaven on earth! Best place to relax and rejuvenate health. Staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful. Food by chef Pradanth is fantastic, and yet you can still lose weight:). I will come back every year!! Good for solo travel and couples

I arrived as somewhat of a sceptic and ended up feeling thoroughly relaxed and refreshed. The staff are fantastic, the food wholesome and delicious and the Premium villas very comfortable indeed. I lost weight, learned a bit of yoga (in group and private classes) and even learned to cook some new delicious dishes. You can do as much or as little as you like….no pressure. My wife did everything on offer and loved every moment. She felt nurtured and cared for during the whole week. Its very authentic and we highly recommend it. Rooms: Premium villas very private and comfortable. Cleaned daily with love and care. Aircon and fan with excellent outdoor shower. Mozzie nets on all windows and doors.More
