Rockholm at Lighthouse Beach is designed as a serene Ayurveda and Yoga-centric retreat where guests can rejuvenate amidst nature’s healing energy. The property offers a multi-cuisine, Ayurveda-inspired sea-facing restaurant, authentic Ayurvedic treatments, a Yoga centre, doctor on call, money exchange facilities, travel desk, and guided sightseeing trips, along with private access to a tranquil stretch of Lighthouse Beach.

Each guest room has been created to encourage deep rest and relaxation, with floor-to-ceiling Fenesta glass windows that insulate sound to below 30 dB, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. Highly tempered, sunproof glass and fitted mosquito nets provide privacy, protection, and comfort. Plush linens from Raenco Linen Mills with a thread count above 200, along with double-pile towels, enhance the sense of luxury and restfulness in alignment with Ayurvedic emphasis on restorative sleep.

Guests can enjoy the sea-facing swimming pool with a panoramic deck, overlooking the Arabian Sea and Lighthouse Beach. Rockholm also provides bicycles for gentle rides, encouraging light exercise and mindful exploration of the surroundings.

The property opens directly to a 200-metre secluded sandy cove, often graced by playful dolphins, local fishing catamarans, and vibrant marine life. While the Arabian Sea offers stunning views year-round, swimming is not recommended during the monsoon months (June–August) when the tides are stronger.

Guest rooms and suites showcase a modern, minimalistic art deco style, blending natural woods like Panamanian Teak, Purple Heart, and Pincoda Timber with hand-painted artisan bathroom tiles inspired by the Mediterranean Cuerda Seca technique. Sea-facing private balconies allow abundant natural light and fresh ocean breezes, enhancing mental clarity and relaxation. Handwoven hemp rugs in earthy tones add an eco-friendly, organic charm to the interiors, supporting Ayurvedic ideals of sustainable and sattvic living.

The gardens at Rockholm are cultivated with care to complement the sea view, featuring coconut palms and vibrant bougainvillea that uplift the mind and spirit. A Herbal Garden within the Ayurveda Centre showcases medicinal plants used in therapies and Rockholm’s signature Ayurveda oils, offering guests a chance to connect with the healing power of nature.

Nature lovers will also delight in the frequent sightings of eagles, herons, kingfishers, peacocks, palm squirrels, civet cats, and chameleons, all adding to the richness of the natural ecosystem.

At Rockholm, Ayurveda and Wellness form the very foundation of every stay. From 1st August 2023, the retreat has chosen to focus exclusively on Ayurveda Packages, ensuring an authentic and immersive healing journey. A minimum of 7 nights is recommended for the Rejuvenation Program, while a minimum of 14 nights or more is encouraged for the Panchakarma Program, offering guests the depth of cleansing and revitalisation that Ayurveda prescribes.

The Ayurveda Centre is a sanctuary designed to restore harmony to body, mind, and spirit. Operating daily from 9 am to 6 pm, it features three specialised treatment rooms – Vayu, Surya, and Tara, a welcoming Ayurveda lobby, a doctor’s consultation room, and a traditional steam bath chamber. The treatments are personalised under the guidance of experienced Vaidyas, with every therapy using oils and formulations tailored to individual constitutions.

The Herbal Garden is an integral part of the centre, flourishing with medicinal plants such as Neem, Aloe Vera, Brahmi, Wood Apple, Bhringaraj, Curry Leaf, Vetiver, Ginger, and Turmeric, which are used in treatments. Complementing these are flowering plants like Hibiscus, Bird of Paradise, Lilies, Heliconias, and Travellers Palm, creating a tranquil and vibrant setting.

To enhance the experience, the Ayurveda Centre uses Nattika Life Ayurveda Oils, an in-house brand meticulously prepared at the dedicated unit in Thrissur by skilled Ayurvedic Vaidyas. These therapeutic oils are available for purchase in 250 ml and 500 ml glass bottles, making them a cherished takeaway for continued wellness at home.

The retreat maintains a serene, guest-exclusive environment, offering Ayurveda and Yoga solely for in-house guests. Daily Yoga sessions complement the treatments, with guests requested to bring their pool towels for practice. Please note that on Sundays between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, no sessions are held.
