The Beach & Lake is a privately owned Ayurvedic Resort, ideally situated between the Arabian Sea and the Karamana river, on a nature-blessed island near the famous Kovalam Beach. The resort boasts three types of rooms: Superior Deluxe with a balcony/veranda and sea and river view, Deluxe rooms on the ground floor with a veranda, and Standard Deluxe rooms on the mainland without any sea/river view, balcony, refrigerator, locker facility, Wi-Fi, or extra bed space.

Indoor facilities include a restaurant serving various cuisines, money changing, acceptance of major credit cards, a tour and travel division, safe deposit lockers, room service, laundry, babysitting, refrigerator, television, hot water, and airport/railway station pick-up/drop service in Trivandrum. The resort offers both Ayurveda cuisine and multi-cuisine dining options.

The space is designed in traditional Keralan mansion style, following the principles of Indian Feng Shui, Vastu. The team of consultants includes Ayurveda holistic health professionals, a yoga-therapy consultant available upon request, and a Kalaripayattu therapy consultant also available upon request. The Ayurveda doctors hold either BAMS or MD degrees or their equivalent from accredited Indian universities. Their qualifications are more than sufficient to plan and oversee guests' health programs. They have treated numerous patients, including many from overseas, representing countries such as Germany, Denmark, the USA, the UK, Slovenia, Ukraine, Norway, Dubai, Bahrain, Singapore, China, Australia, Nepal, and Iran in a relatively short period. They have a special interest in a holistic approach to disease, focusing on prevention and treatment, and conduct seminars on various diseases from an Ayurvedic perspective. Additionally, they offer consultations on Prakriti parikshan (natural constitution) and lifestyle/career guidance tailored to individual nature. The experienced therapists are qualified with government-accredited diplomas in Ayurveda therapies and are dedicated to assisting guests on their journey toward better health.
