Anima Ayurvedic Medical Centre was started as an Ayurvedic Clinic at Ranny in 1984, by Dr. Omana Venugopal (Gr. daughter of Famous Vaidyan Kelan who had the rare honour of recognition of "pattum valayum" from Maharaja. The present Clinic at Mallappally was started in 1990. The clinic grew both in stature and structure and developed into a full fledged hospital with OP and IP facility in 2004. Motherhood is the most beautiful phase of a woman’s life. A multitude of changes occur both physically and mentally during this time. In order to cope up with these changes, proper care and support should be provided. We follow a blend of classical and Kerala traditions of garbhini and sootikaparicharya.
Pre-natal care refers to the care provided after conception till the delivery. It aims at protecting and maintaining the health of the mother, getting her ready for the process of labour, and also provides the growing foetus the required nutrition, and prevents any developmental anomalies. Post-natal care refers to the care after the delivery. Most of the maternal and foetal complications occur during this period, and it is usually the most neglected period for care. Post-natal care helps the mother come out of the torments of labour and get back to the pre-pregnant stage more easily.
