The oil or ghee used to lubricate the wicks in the lamp symbolises Vaasanas or negative tendencies, and the wick itself represents the ego. When lit by spiritual knowledge, the aasanas are slowly exhausted, and the ego too finally vanishes. It is a traditional activity in Kerala to light a lamp during dusk in most homes and is believed to bring positivity to those around it. I have really experienced great Improvement in my health at Amal Tamara. First of all the treatment here is excellent. There is so much of personal supervision. The doctors and therapists do great job in treating you. The hospitality is at its peak! I spent two weeks in a month of tomorrow this beautiful location and the back waters of Kerala just two hour drive from Cochin.
