Sciatica- Ayurvedic Care
Sciatica is pain that radiates along the sciatic nerve, from the lower back, through the buttock, and down the leg. It is usually felt on one side, and can range from a dull ache to a sharp, shooting pain, often accompanied by numbness, tingling, or weakness. It is one of the most common musculoskeletal-neurological conditions, affecting a substantial proportion of adults at some point in life. Ayurveda understands the condition as Gridhrasi, a disorder of aggravated Vata affecting the lower back and leg, and approaches it through targeted therapies to relieve pain, calm the nerve, and restore mobility alongside continued orthopedic and physiotherapy care.
